hi my name is gerry i am 51 yrs old ive used drugs most of my life with no problems to speak of. UNTIL 5 yrs ago when i ran into a little blue pill. It was love at first do. Same old story it started out with one a day then 2 a day then completely out of control. i was hooked for 2 years taking upto 15 30mg oxys a day. i decided to quit cold turkey and went thru hell on earth for about a week. Somehow kept my job, wife, and life in contact. After being clean a couple of years I completely screwed up and relapsed this time in addition to 30mg oxys i was doin heroin. Although this time i was doin 5 30mg oxys a day and whatever H i could get my hands on. The relapse lasted about 7 months. I had to stop cause my supply dried up thank god. When the w/d started i swallowed at least 80 lopermide and that kept it at bay long enough to get to a doctor and be put on suboxone 12 mg a day. i read alot about subs and hope to have a success story rather than a horror story. i went on subs cause there was no way i was going to go thru w/ds again. This is extra tough cause i managed to keep this from my wife who would be crushed if she knew i relapsed. she saved me thru my first w/d I came across this site and saw the positive energy here. I wanna be part of it and can use any help i can get being new to subs. I wanna get off subs as quickly as humanly possible. I know it aint a race but i dont wanna sub one drug with another.
