SWIM has been a user of tramadol for a while now, recently been prescribed propanolol as well. will dosing tramadol while on propanolol have any negative effects. SWIM usually takes quite high doses of tramdol but recently had quite bad panic attacks towards the end of the trip, SWIM thought they were seizures at first but after some research SWIM thinks they're more likely anxiety attacks of some sort. What do you think. Is it safe to take them both together?

We dont "SWIM" here just so you know for future reference. We know it's you, in fact it's an acronym for Someone Who Is Me. Lol.
No harm no foul, now you know.
And to answer your question, I was once rx'd 400mg tramadol/day along with many other meds including 100mg atenolol which is a beta blocker as is propanolol. Never had problems.
I also went ahead and checked the interactions checker at drugs.com

According to them, there are no harmful interactions that have been reported thus far.
I would say given my experience and from checking the interactions checker, you SHOULD be fine.
