A new section called basic basic probably dumb question drug discussion section should be created.

I dont remember so many (sorry to offend) waste of space posts. Is midazolam an opiate?

This is where the UTFSE should automatically pop up and prevent the post from being created. Or it can go to the "TEENAGERS WHO OPENED GRANDMA'S MEDICINE CABINET" forum.

I guess why it bothers me is there are about a billion reputable (WebMD) sites that can give you the info. But if someone equally uneducated, or perhaps driven with malice gives them wrong information, it could be trouble.

if u have a question, theres a little miracle button called SEARCH. search there before posting a simple question like "whats this med: ___"

3-4 years ago before the big prescription abuse boom there were much fewer posts...like Ibuprofen CWE to Hydromorphone....is that for ADD?

It seems like there are just so many bad posts, so when Im going through to try and read something interesting, help someone out. I've wasted my time waiting for the back button on my browser. And Advanced drug discussion is great except for theoretical super chemists talking about crazy compounds they think they know what they're talking about. BUT I RESPECT those people because at least they're thinking. There is such a large disconnect between the two groups.


To the poster who articulates your frustration by hoping for the post to be RAPED on an electronic forum, you further my argument. Your a moderator? Wow...now I know why I left BL for such a long time. Sorry Bud
