Hi all. I've been reading on here for a loooong time, so I decided to make it official. I'm 32, female, from southeast US. I have mental health issues, and am addicted to opiates. Hydrocodone and oxycodone primarily. And I've been working myself up to quit before I turn to heroin. A couple of failed attempts cold turkey, so I'm planning a taper for when we can stockpile. I like you all already, and thanks!
 
Good for you I ended up turning to heroin thinking it would be cheaper but I made the worst mistake of my life. If I didn't go on bupe then I would most definitely be dead today. Let me know if you need anything I got almost a decade of experience with opiate use and addiction I've been in detox probably 6 or 7 times and now I'm taking suboxone daily till I jump off that fully I'm almost ready to make the jump and see how living life sober is once again. Its hard when being high to deal with problems is all you've known since your brain was developing still at age 15.
 
That's the road I took, I went from eating methadone here and there to a full-blown habit, then to i.v.ing heroin. After that shit got REALLY screwed up. 4 years later I'm still struggling....
