khat would be nothing like 4-methymethcathinone anyway... its just a straight stim, its like saying mdma is the same as amp.
 
I was joking - just illustrating how desperate I am for a good new legal - too impatient for '6-APB' even though I've got a sample on the way. :D However, I stand by the "Mephedrone kids would lap it up". :p

When I used to live in Whitechapel there were some off licences where all the Somalis went that used to sell Khat leaves, bought a few bundles back in the day.

The effects are very mild, as Shambles said, I would compare it to a very low therapeutic dose of amphetamine, I mean something like 7mgs of d-amp, nothing much really.

Not recreational at all, plus you have to chew a fuck ton of leafs to get an effect, not really as easy as doing a line.
 
Khat goes really well with boozing, adds a bit more liveliness to the situation and lets you drink like a champ

That's true, it does go well with a few drinks, still not worth it though, I remember paying 3 quid for a bundle and I needed two to really get a buzz going.
 
If you really wanted to try using Khat as a 'proper drug' I'd bet/guess/wildly conjecture that soaking the pulverised plant in methanol for 24 hours, straining & evapping would give a residue with a high enough active percentage to play around with....

I'm not trying it though :-P

Hello, btw. Hopefully I haven't broken any arcane rules in my first mutterings here; thanks for the various useful commentary on m-but (which was what led me here) and also 6-somethingorother, which had not even impressed itself on my brainpan before I invested an hour in said reading.

While I'm here, is technical synthesis discussion & info requesting allowed? I can't see it mentioned specifically in the rules... sorry if this isn't the right place for this Q too, but it's your own fault for jamming up my google searches with your erudite confabulations.

Edit: 30 seconds later, I see that it is. Back to google I go; back here I will end up within 3 clicks at the outside, no doubt :\ (no, wait, I'm a moron. nevermind. just figured it out.)

To (finally) attempt to add something vaugely topical: of the new RCs I've tried DMC (at 10x coke dosages it's similar to the intended; rectal administration required due to sheer bloody quantity. Not really worth the hassle but if really liked coke it would be different; can also evap it carefully off foil & smoke it, CAREFULLY as if you heat it a tiny bit too much it suddenly sets the foil and possibly your hand alight), jolly green granules (claimed to be some kind of prolitane, similar to weak speed with a tiny euphoric touch) and something else that was brown (MDAI i think, good in combo for me but the good lady loves it on its own too)

PS if anyone has an interest in anything that's legal in the UK but not available currently and can point me in the direction of a synth, there is a good chance of a full and detailed experience report occuring from my direction thereafter; at the very least some funny stories of things being set on fire/exploding and/or pointless and frustrating (for them, not me, i find it funny) police raids will no doubt result ;-)

Hmmm, I just seem to get a bit more dopey on empathogens than most, for some reason. MDMA has, on more than one occasion, made me actually leave a club so I can roll around in bed at home, and many were describing 6-APB as relaxing. For clubbing I usually like far more stimulating drugs like methylone... you're right though, and I was planning on trying both separately before combining :)

ethylphenidate should be here next week, I'll get ordering tomorrow so I'll report back!
 
I just noticed something being sold that doubles the effect of amphetamines in some iffy-looking site.

Is this not probably some sort of MAOi, and isn't that dangerous? (e.g. if you eat cheese before...)

Yeah, I wouldn't either - just worried some div might bosh 5 with a load of NRGx or summat. If it's MAOi and you don't watch what's in your diet it can be really bad for you (as far as I remember...)

MDAT is a pure serotonin releaser, not a triple (serotonin/dopamine/adrenaline) releaser like MDMA. You'd need to combine it with a dopamine releasing stimulant like amphetamine or (once again) ethylphenidate to get the high energy and empathogenic effects that MDMA has.

Like MDAI, useless on its own, but brilliant with the perv powder, funny that taken together it actually inhibits the massive PV hornyness.
 
I've had an email caht with a vendor who is happy to send off what he is selling for a gcms of the stuff hes selling so people know. Seems fair.

Jolly Green Granules- well, I tried them. In the interest of harm reduction. Just to make sure they wouldn't kill me, of course.
5-IAI & 6-APB- I'm beginning to think these don't exist.
Frohexadrine- this one definitely doesn't exist.

I thought MDPV+MDAI was mediocre and just felt like "soft" peevee, because MDPV works more on dopamine reuptake than release AFAIK. I can understand why people think the combo's nice but just not euphoric enough for me :)
 
TBH I take drugs mostly for the euphoria, thats #1 on the list! I just dont get the point in uppers without euphoria at all.

Wish someone would whip up a batch of 4-Methylaminorex so we could all see why it was named U4EA......:D
