Pretty sure that no sourcing is allowed anywhere on BL.

However, some fora take an extremely hard line on that meaning you can't really even use words like "vendor" or "source" and definitely can't discuss the possible differences between them in any, way, shape or form. EADD seems to be fairly sensible in its policy of allowing discussion of the fact that sources and vendors do exist and that there may be differences amongst some of them but still not allowing any specific discussions of such things. Discussion of specific (and definitely of named) source sites and/or forums is a big no-no throughout BL though. Last I looked anyway.

Common sense, I'd say. If it seems iffy to discuss then it probably is so don't ;)

^Yeah, I know that straight-up sourcing is against the BLUA, I meant I wasn't sure how much discussion about vendors you did allow. The kind of discussion that was going on wouldn't have been OK in CD, but for all I knew might have been here.

Ok sorry. won't mention it. Still getting used to using bl. will bear that in mind then! didn mean to cause any palaver!
 
About the preceeding discussion on drug laws, I hope everyone is aware of TDPF, SSDP and in the future the LCA. Ideally, get involved. Only through speaking up will the government feel less secure about it's foolish drug policy, and smaller parties will feel comfortable about speaking up in parliament.
 
Colour me jaded, but they don't care what the scientists they hire to inform them about drug policy have to say about drug policy, I don't think they're going to care about what I have to say. People have been saying the same things since the '60s, and only the willfully blind can ignore the perfect analogy between alcohol prohibition in America and today's drug war, and yet nothing changes.
 
You're right they don't listen to the scientists. They listen to the papers and popular opinion.
The papers, we can do almost nothing about. Popular opinion on the other hand, we can mould as we please.

There is no doubt that public opinion is changing. People are starting to see the foolishness of the drug war, cannabis is already largely acceptable. As more people who were exposed to the strongest propaganda pass away, a higher percentage will know the truth, since drug education is changing and the internet educates those who are intelligent enough to teach themselves. We CAN win this.

Make a corporate entity with the fiscal muscle to buy the shady fuckers vote, otherwise all the public opinion in the world wont matter a single fuck.

I can't remember who said it, or the original elegant phrasing, but there's a famous quotation about how the theories don't actually win supporters, but that all the opponents of the view eventually die and a new generation who has always accepted it grows up.
 
Yeah I know the one you mean exactly, and that's the one I'm thinking about. A 19th century scientific philosopher iirc
 
So give it another 50 years and all the stoners, ravers, meph kids, psychonauts and junkies of today shall be in parliament, influencing the laws on drug use. Their traditionalist parents will have gone and we'll be left with a much more accepting society, where children are educated by their parents, who used drugs themselves.
 
^That's the theory...except that the most powerful man in the world has admitted using cocaine and cannabis, half our cabinet has admitted using recreational drugs, and yet they still seem to believe that the best thing to happen to people who do the things they did is to be treated as a criminal. Anyway, this thread is getting derailed-I might start a new one...
 
I'm sure the same thing was said in the sixties. I'd like it to be true but I can't see it.

I have been reading some new trip reports regarding 6-apb, but still think vendor...

So has any regular in here given it a try resulting in a good experience?
 
Tried 6-apb for the first time around a month ago, for what I paid, it was a pathetic high. I enjoyed it etc, it just wasn't strong enough. Mind you I am basing this on pills. I am scratching my head to what the fuck the first batches were compared to what I had. It felt like a cross between mediocre MDMA, and a BZP body high. These were the green pills. Last week I tried some powder which was very nice, felt very MDMA like/ish/not really.
