New poster, long time viewer, bringing some technical knowledge

I have been a long time viewer, and have experimented with many things. I have accumulated quite a bit of technical knowledge in my over 40 years as a casual user and experimenter.

Thanks for the welcome bronson, I thoroughly enjoy technology, as it is my passion, and my career. I also enjoy using high purity substances, therefore, I've made a hobby of doing extractions. My body doesn't agree with adulterants.

A little bit ago, I replied to a poster who appeared to be in trouble, he had just suffered a great loss and I could totally relate to what he was saying. I was able to share some of my experience in what I felt was a way to help him cope and get through his issue. So, I think I could potentially contribute in a variety of ways. I've had a lot of low points in my life, and I've learned a lot of things that I would enjoy sharing as well.

I've always wanted a forum to call home, and at first impressions, I fell this site may be it. I'm really hoping so.

I know a lot of people here are really young, but, if my life experiences could help someone, that would really make my day.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here. Oh, are all posts previewed by moderators? Or, will that go away sometime. The reason I ask is the young man I posted to tonight was in some trouble and I was hoping my message could reach him fairly soon. Thanks,

Extract fentanyl from matrix patch

Hi. Can any one pls. Inform me, if isopropyl (99%) is well chosen, in attempt to extract fentanyl from matrix patch? Or should I make an effort to track down methanol? still have great trouble getting rid of the last bit of adhicive/glue from sticky side. When solution is filteret, still some trace of gum, in crystal,on glass surface, when scraping w.razorblade,
It seems,as the remaining glue (even the small amount left, after rubbing) gets ....disolved in the initial isopropyl solvent. Only after either,deluting with alkohol (Vodka +80 proof) or saline solution, the damn rubber/adhicive returns.!?
Im on my 5th trail with isopropyl extraction. Have 75mcg matrix from Mylan. Says " 12,6 mg fentanyl " Then I also have, (lucky,I know) Orion 100mcg matrix. Says "20,4 mg fentanyl ". As in each patch!
Does it mean, that potentialy, I could extract a yield that mirrors the ....almost double amount of mg, from Orion patches?
As u see, im new and English is not my first choise.
