About him:
Hi. My friend has been diagnosed with depression, severe social anxiety, bi-polar disorder, tics, ocd, add and adhd, he has been prescribed medicine since he was a child. He is not allergic to anything except one time he got a rash from adderall when he was young.
Due to his depression and social anxiety, my friend looks for ways to self medicate a lot. He has recreationally used cannabis, concerta, LSA, DXM, bendaryl, oxy, and percoret.
My friend is currently medically prescribed, 54mg Concerta, 20mg Lexapro, Intuniv, Topamax.
He takes Vitamin B6 and B12 (TR) also. Sometimes he takes melatonin to help him sleep.
My friend has mostly grown out of his tics so his doctor has been weening him off his tic medicine, and he is fully off orap now.
Ever since his Dad found out about him smoking weed he has been more on top of him about drugs. His dad says if he wants to smoke once every other week that is fine. However, he cannot bring it home, and he cannot ask his dad for a ride to get it. His dad is VERY strict about hard drugs such as heroin, coke, and meth. His dad will not hesitate to call the police or send him to a drug rehab if he finds out he has done any of those drugs. My friend trusts his dad for the most part and if he wants help getting a legal substance, such as LSA. His dad will do research and most likely say okay. He prefers to do things with his parents knowing than without because the idea of them finding out will cause a bad trip. If his dad knows he is high and he is okay with it, he will be extra careful not to trigger him and to leave him alone. His dad for the most part is a reasonable person and will not be bias against anything. His Dad does thorough research on drugs that my friend asks for. He has said that cannabis once in awhile is okay, same with LSA. He has considered salvia divinorium but he does not like the idea of hallucinations. My friend would rather ask his dad to co-operate than sneak around doing drugs. My friend has never been able to keep a secret from his parents. He hates that about himself, however he cannot change it.
Cannabis experience:
My friend was a active user of cannabis for a few months, totalling 15-20 total tokes and 10-15 times getting high. (He believes that it is due to him not inhaling right) He never had a dealer or direct connection for cannabis, it would always be with his sketchy friends for a toke. However, a few months ago he got in an arguement with them and is never going to see them again. My friend has not had any cannabis for 1-2 months.
He describes his cannabis experience as very overwhelming. He had uncontrollable giggling and thoughts. His thoughts were very unorganized. And they were racing through his head. He day dreamed a lot and zoned out. At times his emotions took over and he would start bawling or get major butterflies in his stomach due to anxiety. He did not really like it. Everytime he smoked cannabis he said he would never do it again. However, after 1-2 hours he would be just out of it and happy. It was amazing. He loved that part. And going through the first hour or two would be worth it. He also thinks he may of had bad trips due to being with the people he was with.
One time he had really good friends who he trusted and liked, and he toked with at their house. It was just those 3 and they were talking and eating and laughing. One of those friends, E, was a stoner and did not get high easily. However, his boyfriend, D, was a lightweight and didnt toke a lot so he took one hit and was on his laptop for the rest of the night. E, and my friend took turns toking for a while. My friend was really high and could barely hold the pipe, and so E, who was still basically sober, helped him get a few more hits. They stopped and E, sprayed his room with cologne and put visine in his eyes. However, my friend could not keep his eyes from blinking to get visine in them. E tried putting them in for him and he just started laughing. He gave up and my friend just stayed in his room while E brought him pizza. My friend had to leave about an hour into the high. And his dad drove him home. During the ride home, everything slowed down, the music, the cars, and the music got a lower pitch. He felt like he forgot to breathe. And so he was voluntarily trying to remember to breathe. His dad obviously knew he was high but he is okay with it as long as its not too often and it doesnt interfere with school and his normal life. He had thoughts rushing through his head, however, he did not feel sad or have lots of anxiety. He would say this was his best experience with cannabis.
However, E and D were having problems so they broke up and my friend never got to hang with them again. He would hang with just E, however, E is on probation and is trying his hardest not to toke. And also he doesnt want anything done in his house again because he said it reeked last time. E is willing to help him find LSD, or to drink with him whenever he is able to hang out again. My friend never got high with him since then.
At times, he wishes he could stop being high right then and there because it is so overwhelming for him. The high stops when he falls asleep and wakes up the next day. But until he falls asleep, he is out of it until then. However, when it does come time to sleep, he sleeps very well and easily.
Oxy experience:
After one of those tokes, his sketchy friend told him that he was prescribed Oxy after he got surgery for his broken nose.
He paid $5 and took 1.
He was not high from the cannabis because he believes didn't inhale it right, and he did not feel anything from the oxy.
He felt sober the whole experience.
Cigarette Experience:
His first time smoking a cigarette was with a 22 year old friend who is a regular smoker. He had already tried marijuana so he wanted to see what cigarettes were like. He felt amazingly lightheaded a pretty euphoric the first few times. He could not finish a whole cigarette at first.
My friend smoked ocassionally, with friends, on walks, etc.
A pack lasted him 1-2 months.
After my friend stopped smoked pot. He started smoking more cigarettes than usual. He is not addicted, as he doesn't smoke everyday. But he thinks of it as more of a time passer.
A pack varies from 1-3 weeks depending on what his schedule is. If he is sitting at home doing nothing he will go out for a cigarette because he's bored. However, if he has a nice, good, social week, he will probably not smoke at all.
He does not get very lightheaded anymore so he does not use it as a way to relieve stress or get "high" anymore.
When he has anxiety and he smokes, it causes increased anxiety and nasuea.
Concerta Experience:
My friend has taken apart his concerta and then taken it both orrally and through insufflation.
He does not really feel any "high" from concerta. He feels more focused and his thoughts are more organized. When he takes it daily, he does not feel anything. One time he took the concerta with a glass of alcohol. He started getting twitchy (his tics) and had a terrible comedown.
He did not feel anything when he insufflated it.
He has tried to get his doctor to switch him to Adderall XR, but his doctor says they both work equally as well for ADD. And he obviously didnt want to tell his doctor that they dont for euphoria.
My friends doctor has been increasing his mg since he complained it wasnt working.
While typing this, he took 1x 36mg pill og concerta normally, 5x 36mg pills of concerta without the time release and a few hours later, his daily medication, including 1x normal 54mg concerta.
He has a little blurry vision but is very focused on typing. No euphoria however.
He is having really blurry vision and it is annoying him a bit. He wishes it would stop now.
LSA Experience:
One day My friend went to walmart and got around 8 packs of MG seeds. He did a cwe and drank the water with some packet flavouring. He had no nausea, and felt really good. He would compare it to the after-effects of marijuana from 2 hours-sleep. He was really into the nature outside and wanted to socialize. He didnt because he had no where to go. So he went on a tinychat and videochatted most of the night. He was a little paranoid and he was really out of it. He had some times where there was uncontrollable giggling, however that was only for the first 5-10 minutes. He had no hallucinations. He did have blurry vision though which was a nice touch. He wanted to check how high he was so he decided to do a math problem. My friend did 11 * 27, he said it out loud and then typed the answer into the chat box. He was so happy he did it right. But his friends were looking at him like he was crazy. They were laughing. He kept looking at the answer and saying, 297 is right, right? Eventually he looked again and saw he only typed 29. He was a little embarrassed, but laughed it off and typed 7.
He fell asleep really easily and had a good nights sleep feeling really good the next day.
It felt annoying feeling out of it for so long so he couldnt wait for him to be back to normal.
Benadryl Experience:
The first time he did this it was terrible. He took 600mg with monster. He could not sleep and felt very irratated. His eyes were heavy but he just couldnt sleep. He had no hallucinations.
He wished it would stop.
He has used benadryl recreationally a few times after, remembering not to take it with caffiene and all it did was give him blurred vision and heavy eyes. And a really good nights sleep. He felt good in the morning too.
His favourite benadryl experience was when he took 4x 25mg benadryl pills crushed and insufflated. It burned so bad even though it was as fine as he could get it. But within 30-60 minutes. He felt super tired and didnt really care about his nose. He just passed out and had an amazing nights sleep.
Percocet Experience:
The other day, my friend raided his parents room looking for his concerta. He found a key and a locked box. It had his presciption papers, his mother's prescription papers, and a whole lot of medicine. He took some 36mg concerta and hid them. While looking through the medicine he saw something that said oxycodone 5-325 prescribed to his mother. Debating on whether to take the oxy's or concerta's, he looked it up and decided to put 3 oxys in his pocket and did not hide any others besides the concerta. The room was a mess so he decided to just make it a little more clean. His dad would be home in 20-30 minutes so he could not get away with them never knowing. He would need at least 1-2 hours to get it fully clean. But it was very hot and he was sweating. He tidied up a bit. And then he was going to insufflate the oxy, but decided to take them orally because he could not crush them fully in the time he had left. He had big chunks of oxy and just took them orally with a drink.
He made sure his dad didnt go upstairs and so he asked if they could go for a drive. He said "can we go before you change because i wanna go now." His dad was not in his work clothes, but casual clothes because it was friday. So he was okay with walking the dogs, going to the bathroom, and then going. They went for a 1-2 hour drive and listened to music really loud. They had a nice talk about multiple different things. They stopped for bbq which my friend didnt eat much and then they drove home.
His mom was still at a friends house so they picked her up and went home. They found he had raided the room and he got in trouble. He told them that he took 3 concertas and hid 3 more. And he would tell them where they were if they didnt get him in any more trouble. Thy agreed and he showed them where he hid the concerta. Of course, he had 6 more hidden elsewhere that he took the next day.
The whole car ride he was very euphoric, however, it was not forced euphoria like LSA or marijuana. He genuinely felt happy. He felt no anxiety. He also felt very social and talkative. Music sounded amazing to him. Nature was beautiful, now it was a really nice day so that might've not been just the drug. He couldn't even comprehend sad thoughts. He was in full control of his thoughts and movements. His dad did not suspect he was high at all.
The only side effects he had were blurred vision/minor dizzyness when standing and walking, decreased appetite, dry mouth, and itchiness. However, he did not itch very often. But when he did it felt amazing to scratch himself and it induced more euphoria. He was only focused on the present which was the drive. However, he was thinking about his future and talking about it to his dad.
He did not want this to stop. Ever. He did not feel like an altered state of mind like other drugs do to him. Where he is not in control of himself. This made him feel better but still normal. He snapped out of his high a little before he fell asleep. He felt right back to normal. No comedown. The only comedown was mental and that was the sadness of not being high anymore. However, he was happy that he had found something new. Most of the time he is relieved to end a high, however, if he could, he would choose to be high forever on oxy. If he had the choice to always be high on weed or alwas be sober, he would choose sober because cannabis is too harsh for him. But he would never think twice about always being high on oxy. This has become his favourite drug experience ever.
DXM Experience:
One day, my friend went for a walk and decided to shoplift a thing of Deslym DXM. It had only DXM in it, and he drank the whole bottle. He did not feel anything. He felt sober for the whole experience. However, he did have the shits for a few days after. And he is positive there was no Guassifessine in it. So the DXM and shits may not be connected.
