New Oxycontin Formula Countermeasure

I'm scripted morphine because I have leukemia with legitamite pains, from chemo and whatnot. but to get the relief I need and make the meds last longer I have to IV. (its not like that with oxy for me though, because the BA of oral is so close to IV I can get the same relief either way, but we all know the low oral BA of morphine)

That sucks man, I'm sorry. I don't understand why you wouldn't simply get the proper treatment you need from the doc instead, especially when you have cancer associated pain. There are a lot of good options for that type of pain, from fentanyl to oxymorphone.
 
well, I was an addict before all this, so my tolerance was already somewhat signifigant compared to an opiate naive person. I'd rather get these 15mg IR morphine pills than nothing by asking for something stronger.

I am, however, having lots of problems with nausea, vomiting, and appettite and I'm thinking of asking for Marinol, and not for recreational use. I really haven't been eating, and throwing up anything I drink.
 
Has anyone actually came across this new Oxycontin formula yet? Also I can confirm that it is not possible to gain a refill or attempt to change quantity in the UK. It is highly difficult to get oxycontin prescribed in the first place here, let alone have a subscription increased.

i got marinol 10mg #90 rx'd to me by 3 different doctors and i don't have cancer. if you are nauseous and have tried:

ginger tea
diphenhydramine
compazine
zofran
phenergan (promethazine)

and none of those work last resort is marinol or cesamet. (cesamet is a much more abuseable type of synthetic THC from what i hear, never tried it) it's not too hard to get an Rx if you know what to say... and if you have cancer it should be no problem whatsoever.



i wonder if the new OC has a lower BA because of its increased ability to deter snorting/iv abuse.... i would think it would which is sad for people who actually need brand name OC to relieve their pain b/c the generics by law can have 10% less of the active ingredient than the brand...
 
I'e heard that, but I've never seen proof of it either. I've also never came across an american made generic that was any different than any other brand. other than pills that gel up/burn (those are differences noted).

however, saying that I do dislike the 1mg Mylan brand alprazolam for some reason.

oh, and I did end up getting a script to 60# of the 5mg Dronabinol (Marinol) pills, but when I went to get it filled, no place had it, so I asked them to order it, found out my insurance doesn't cover it, and its the price of a half pound of weed! so my doctor filled out a bunch of papers and is trying to get the insurance company to cover it. she then proceeded to tell me to smoke marijuana if I felt the need to. at the time i was having problems finding anythng for like a month. but I now have a bag.
 
have gotten the new 80mg op,s they are out across the usa as of 8/15/10 these new formula pills seem indestrucktable
 
yes its true the new op oxycontin suck but you have to think about what is going to happen in the long run now that the united states wont have regular oc's anymore. For the first few months everyone will be complaining and wondering what they are going to do. Then the people in mexico and canada are going to start realizing what happened in the united states. Once the canadians and mexican drug dealers find out that the united states cant get regular ocs anymore they are going to start shipping it over the boarders just like "mary jane", "Herion", and "Coke". So I think in the long run the Purdue people are going to cause a bigger problem by making the new OP's rather then just keeping the regular OC's.
 
thats probably already whats been happening if you do any ordering over the net. the hot spots are RIGHT on this side of the border.
 
So im assuming Purdue will lose out on alot of money here in the USA because alot of people were abusing the old ones & they dont want the new pills.
 
I'm sure they'll do just fine.

I truly believe that the majority of people scripted oxycontin are using it the correct way and they shouldn't know the difference except they're bigger and have a different imprint. but who knows, there might be some people out there that the new ingredients won't agree with their stomachs and stuff.

then there are the people who abuse it that are going to hate it, but most of the people that abuse it aren't scripted it in the first place so Purdue won't be losing any money from them.

I'm currently on IR and SR morphine and while the SR gels, I can get around that, I had the option for oxycontin but I knew I wouldn't be able to shoot it up, and my insurance wouldn't cover it, so I went with the MScontin.
 
oh, and I got a question. are the mallinckrodt generics still out there, or did they get wiped out again? those were somewhat abusable.

but I remember they used to have a bunch of generics the best being ABG, and then there were the ones with the pepper extract that burned when snorted but could still be shot, the footballs that gelled, the kind where all the colours were different than other brands and gelled, then the ones that were real fat, looked like X tabs, the 40's were purple, they gelled too. then they took all generics away except for the footballs, then those were gone and it was name brand only which was awesome. then they released the mallinckrodt generic and it was the only one and it gelled. but I haven't heard anyone say anything about these lately. so, whats the word...these still around? they were somewhat abusable.

you do realize with the new patent on oxycontin the way it is, every generic that comes out in the future will also have to have the same tamper proofness, right?

No they don't. I believe Opana ER uses the TimeRx. Obviously people are able to crush the opanas and snorth them, and although they gel up they this ROA has been proven effective when taking small "bumps".

You can barely crush the new oxy from what I gather from peoples posts.
 
parchuteing it wont work it will make only very slightly less time relase. i just got two of the op 80s and i heard this some where so i tried it i broke them in to very small pieces got a bag a chips and some soda each piece i put in to my mouth had a chip and a drink of soda so to seperate the pieces put the small peices chewed it even smaller with my front teeth then while it was still in my mouth i ate a chip it took a while to get it down but i read that in your stomach even if you powderize it it will still come back together in your stomach as a jelly monster and still have time realese so the chips seperate each peace and make them dissolve sepratly. i am messed up i did it an hour ago i started feeling it even before i was done eating all the peices this is the second time i have tried the ops the other time i just broke it real fine and eat it this works a million times better i wish i could snort them but i will settle for at least getting high. any way it worked so if you got to have ops and cant get genric ethex ones this is the best way to beat the time realese. the ethex ones say oc on them and are great
