New (or relatively new) RCs - Feels somewhere inbetween

Sadly, no ket hookup, and definitely no chance of the latter, I doubt it would be available on the street, I figure its little used in medical practice here.

Besides, its a kappa opioid (at least, the laevo isomer is.

And besides, couldn't take it if I did get hold of some, its a partial opioid agonist. Really wouldnt be pretty, as I'm on longterm pain management, on oxy. The docs tried me on fent patches recently, tried wearing them, and that was absolute hell, thanks to the guy being (while a great doc in general, fucking clueless about pain management thats anymore complex than giving out a few codeine/DHC pills for a bad back or the like) ended up having to prep every bloody one of them for IV and crawl back the next but one day begging to be put back on the OC80s)

Did have an accidental experience with a partial agonist opioid once, the propionyl ester of meptazinol (meptid itself is awful stuff, feels almost corrosive to one's insides, I tried plugging the stuff once and ended up doubled over, shitting blood, and that was on top of the precipitated WD). Figured it may be due to the acidity of its free phenolic -OH. so why not introduce it to a bit of propionyl chloride, ala H manufacture.

Result-not nearly so prone to burning one's insides, still ppt. withdrawal. Still weak, shitty opioid. Actually..I think its still here somewhere, in the form of a noxious, sort of goeey orange crystalline mess. Couldn't even be bothered working that one up after the first test.


And I meant NMDA antagonist research chemicals really. if I wanted wierd, fucked up psychedelia I'd just go to the local head shop and buy salvia.

Salvia is...interesting, but i do not find it useful for anything much.

NMDA antagonists on the other hand, great entertainment and all the while, stamping on my oxy tolerance.
Pentazocine is one I would have loved to have tried, but I'm not going to get the chance, not unless I can find some naltrexone cheaply.
(no, I wouldn't take it, but I've been reading some REALLY interesting papers about Mu-opioid receptor agonists that produce neither respiratory depression, physical dependence, nor inhibit peristalsis, based on naltrexamides with various substitutions at the 3-position. Been contemplating maybe having a shot at 3-iodobenzoylnaltrexamide)

Seemingly they work by binding a splice variant that is insensitive to traditional opioids, and shockingly, the N-cyclopropylmethyl substituent is actually more or less essential to agonist activity. First time I've EVER seen that in an agonist. usually the result is an inverse agonist, or at best/worst (depending on viewpoint) neutral antagonist. Like naltrexone, and naloxone.

Although seemingly, iodobenzoylnaltrexamide is not euphorigenic. Which is a bit of a bugger. A highly euphoric opioid that produces no tolerance, dependency, or inhibition of peristalsis, that would be the junky's dream, and make big pharma big £££ I'm sure.
 
And seconded on MXE.

Has to be my favourite dissociative, bar only 3-hydroxy-PCP. That one was wonderful, I'm fucked off that I only got to try it the once before the ban, at 10mg IV.
 
4-meo-pcp is okay when it works. 3-meo is a totally different story. MXE was good for a while until it started to make me feel that it wasn't worth taking side effects wise. I am sure the last batch of mxe i got wasnt much good or wasnt interacting right iwth my meds.
 
I loved 4-methoxyphencyclidine...but the 3-methoxy isomer is just iffy shit.

It seems to be a convulsant, at least, it has triggered multiple episodes of myoclonic seizure in me.
Put me in hospital several times. Very steep dose-response curve. A few tends of mg over the line, and it fucked me up in a bad way. With MXE or 4-methoxy-PCP I didn't even have to bother measuring the dose on a scale (not that I advise that to anyone), I just used the tip of the blade of one of my daggers to measure a decent sized bump into the vial of saline used to prep my shots, and was fine.

3-OH-PCP seemed a lot more forgiving.
 
I tried 3-MeO-PCP a few times and had nothing but success. Doses around 10mg, nice 8hr duration, pleasant effects, not much sleep prevention. Lovely.
 
I thought that on 3-MeO-PCP it just made me feel like a robot. As if everything with just neutral. I donno, i cant really explain it properly. Didnt particularly enjoy it, but i only tried it a couple times so im tempted to give it another go.

Been doing quite a lot of AH-7921 recently and have been very much enjoying that one! Although i feel its missing that certain type of euphoria that comes along with most standard opiates. Also i find myself twitching quite a lot when laying in bed & trying to sleep, which is extremely annoying :!
 
I tried a new chem Diphenidine (1,2-diphenylethylpiperidine) at the weekend.

Very impressed, it's very similar indeed to MXE! Been looking for a good MXE like antidepressant since the ban, looks like i've found it!
 
Anyone tried 5-meo-DALT? Got a 250mg sample but reading through the psych thread the acceptable doseage and ROA seems to vary wildly so I'd like some trusted EADD advice... Shambles?
 
Never tried it, Jed. I vaguely recall the gist of reports being that it's borderline worthless unless doses are sillyhigh (and even then nowt special). Also vaguely recall that it's way more potent and interesting smoked. Other than that I have no idea.

In related news, I'm sure I have a sample of 4-AcO-DALT knocking about still I was given ages back but never got around to. Could never find much info on it though. Although I should probably go back and check the PD thread I started for it - have a funny feeling it goes under another name too. Of course I could be thinking of summat totally different... but don't think I am.

Yeah i didn't think much of it.. i got bored and mixed it with some mpa.. which was alright i guess..

Don't smoke it though.. It's fckin weird.. It turned me into a mindless spaz for about 3 mins.. (it was like my mind was just going beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep)
 
Hmm... I may've been thinking IV then. Was ages ago. Sammy Smiles (PD legend long since permabanned) did quite extensive bioassays on it when all around him were calling "shite drug". From hazy memory anyway. Will all be in the PD B&D thread so am but rambling really.

Not that I'm advising IVing it either. Do recall there being one ROA that turned an uninteresting compound into the stratosphere though. Potentially. Well... vaguely recall :o
