Hello Bluelight members,
I am new to the forum seeking advice with my years of opioid dependency. I was injured on a drilling rig in 1996. Partially paralyzed, underwent spinal surgery and suffer with nerve damage and spinal degeneration.
I have been on Norco 10/325 2 tablets 4x daily as well as daily cannabis use.
I manage quite well along with Flexril 10mg at night for spasms.
I am concerned about my long term use since 1996. Albeit, I has modified my Rx to 1 Norco 8x daily which seems to be easier on my digestive system.
Anyone who has suggestions or recommendations I appreciate it.

Hey Up-Rocker, welcome to Bluelight from us all here! :)

Really sorry to hear about your problems :(

Can I suggest you check out the Recovery forums - The Dark Side and Sober Living? There are lots of knowledgeable people there who should be able to give you some advice and support on the long-term use issue.

Take care!

hello rocker
I had spinal surgery in 1997 been on fentanyl for 15 yrs, started at 75ug per hour now down to 37ug's it can have it's moments but hang in you'll do fine.

Bring down opiate tolerance before surgery?

I have been taking percocet for severe endometriosis and migraines for over a decade. I would say most days I have to take it, however I have built up tolerance. I have a full hysterectomy scheduled and worried about pain control due to current tolerance. Surgery Dec 19th. Is there a cleanse or protocol to bring down tolerance?
