I bought an 80 mg OP earlier and took half, will that do anything to me? Everything I've read on here is just about how to get around the new tamper-proof pills, and I'm wondering if I can still feed good at all even tho they're not like they used to be. Please respond only if u have a lot of experience. thanks
 
No, clearly Purdue is marketing a pill that is not physiologically active!

It still contains oxycodone and oxycodone will still have an effect on you. It will just release it more gradually so the onset and intensity will be less pronounced then if you were taking an instant release formulation of oxycodone.

Make sure you don't take too much. I assume you have a tolerance but if not, 40mg even in an extended release form could still be rather unpleasant if you do not.

Please search around as this has been covered quite a bit (although defeating the abuse-proof measures does dominate the discussion).
