New movie about E called "Holy Rollers"

It premiered in Austin and there was a panel discussion with Sasha and Ann afterwards and I missed it, I heard about it like 3 days after the fact and it made me sad, oh well, I'll rent it at some point, it looks pretty good.

Requiem for a dream really took a look at the human condition, fucking desire, addiction, cravings.

It was so sad ;/
Even if it was off, I loved it.
 
I could give or take this movie... it was effective at killing ~2 hours of my day but afterwards I was neither impressed nor disappointed... It had a few good parts, but the majority of it was pretty bland.
 
i really gota get off my bum and catch one of these films containing e.

not that reading is for anyones, but i hear there is actually a book called extasy from the same author that wrote trainspotting??

another good film, australian film (not the best, being australian and i am australia, we dont make the best films i know) is candy!! found that fantastic, book was better.

so has anyone on this seen this film? i think its out this firday in the UK but was out in 2010 elsewhere. i just watched it online and thought it was pretty good=D

requiem for a dream is one of my fav movies, fear and loathing is absolutely hilarious (up there but not on the top 5)

and rolling, i hated that movie, it ached to get through it, in-fact i had to take 3 sessions to finish it all the way, only due to the fact that i have to finish watching a movie if im already 30 minutes in. Painfully boring and i hate the way they filmed the movie--- A Sincere way to waste your life, watch something else ;) (or give it a try its all you :))

oh and i just saw "Pure" a while ago, i really liked it, 4/5 on netflix - its on Heroin

i need to see trainspotting again, wasnt all there when i saw it aha
 
Saw it, i liked the idea of the movie- the whole innocence corrupted theme..thats what really caught my eye but as far as drug movies, it hardly had to do with the drugs...

The best drug movies imo are definately Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Blow...

"Go" is a pretty good movie its also about E, i absolutely loved the way it was filmed....

But anyways, back on topic, i would give holy rollers about a 4/10. Could've done better.

its not new, its not bad, its not great, and it certainly doesn't really get big into the drug use aspect, more of a "holy" kid who betrays the family and the effects of selling drugs on said family.

its been out for awhile :P
 
It's a pretty good movie I liked it. It's more about a Jewish kid not wanting to
Be poor like his dad and loosing his love than about e... But that's what he turns to when shit gets fucked
 
^one thing that was funny was the dude from the facebook movie is in it. Its just kind of funny cause that movie is about facebook and this one involves e trafficking.
