I m a new member and a very curious and interesting person...I m aware that I have free masons all around me but because I m not a part of them its hard to find out...someone please tell me how to get to kno a member or at least get to be a part of this wonderful organization.
Hiya Curiousguy2014,
I am slightly confused by your question. I am unsure what masons is so I could not help you or advise you on how best to become a member there or know people. However, if you are asking about how to get to know people here; then I can advise in regards to that.
In New Members Introductions (NMI), there is a
New Members Introductions (NMI) Social Thread where people hang out from aspects of the site, so it's a way to get to know people who reside in different sub-forums thus know about different sorts of substance or recovery.
There also an -
Adoption Programme which is basically a programme where current members (Bluelighters) befriend new members (Greenlighters) and help them settle into the site. If you decided that you'd like to become "adopted," feel welcome to post a reply to the adoption thread, expressing your interest which a bit about you (if you wish). The thread is also one of the sticky threads at the top of New Members Introductions (NMI) sub-forum.
If you'd like to give us more information about yourself in relation to the site (of course you don't have to, if you don't feel comfortable doing so) then we can give you further links to direct you to a sub-forum or thread which may be of benefit to you. Bluelight does appear daunting at first - but most of us soon forget feeling that way and it starts to feel more like a warm, welcoming, caring and supportive community; full of useful knowledge and information re' various substances and harm-reduction. In fact many members have thanked Bluelight, saying that their lives have been saved from the information given on these sub-forums / threads.
Wishing you all the best and an ace BL Experience. I'm sure you'll make lots of friends here before you even know it. You're also more than welcome to PM me if you would like a friend or someone to talk to.
