Hi bluelighters ?? well i thought i posted an introduction but i dont see it.

Ill keep it short.

I began with google searching for answers about pain pills. Later I came back to the site for questions and answers regarding detox and withdrawl symptoms. I relapsed twice mostly because when Im sober I have manic depression so now Im in therapy and its my 3rd day on methadone.

Bluelight has been there for me when i had questions ....hoping I will have answers for others by sharing my experience . ???

It seems like you've been through a lot. Congrats on being on methadone. Therapy might be very helpful now that you are stable. Great to have you here.

Methadone can be a good stabilizer and you should now have a better quality life. Good that you have a better alternative.
I suggest you try to stay on small doses and whenever possible try to quit that too as it's one of these meds that can be taken forever and very difficult to come off.

Welcome to Bluelight! I hope you find more answers. I have always been very inspired by this site.
We have interesting threads about recovery and some of them include methadone.
