Welcome to the site my friend (No offence but everything and everyone is my friend tonight ;)) Because I can.

Thank you for welcoming me into the group.I have a question. I don't really know how to navigate in this site very well yt, the only way I have been able to get answers for specific questions is to go to google and type in a question, (i.e) what is the best method for preparing dilly for injection, I am then directed to the blue light site. I have another question. Maybe it can be answered for me here. I was wondering if there is a way to make veins "pop" besides hot water or a shower?

Hey first of all welcome to Bluelight.

You can use a lace or a string or whatever (make sure it's wide enough or it can hurt you) and wrap it around your arm (if you inject there) above the site of injection, then after you've registered (before injecting) remove the lace and then slowly push the plunger.
If you inject before removing the "tourniquet" you risk blowing a vein.

Another method is to inject after some physical exercise.
Even just a few pushups should help.

If you need more help on this matter and other stuff I suggest you open a thread in the Other Drugs section of the forum.

If one has been injecting 8-10mg of dilaudid for ten days, stops for three with no sign of w/d yet, if one injects a 15 roxy, do you think it will have any effect or better to snort it?

I have the smallest veins. I kid you not I've had to have the pediatric nurse come and put in an IV several times. But anyway. I've found the most effective way to get them to "pop" is to stay hydrated and also some exercise. I usually go for a quick bike ride to the store. And gravity. Keep your arm dangled. Don't sit down with it above your heart. Just be safe. If you're injecting please please please do it the safest cleanest way possible.

If you're struggling with veins I find shaking out my arm really helps. And definitely the water and hydration thing. Also. If you're cold your veins will constrict to save heat. warm up!

Definitely good advice, when SOG first woke from sleep was when it was the hardest for him. He did a few jumping jacks and drank some water. Said it was hard to get moving and painful but worth it instead of shaking and pricking himself over and over just to hit what he thought was a vein when it most likely could have been a muscle capillary or small cavity of blood from a previous failed attempt. He is cpr, first aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certified so he had some experience with this area of interest.
