Hey there, Im Red. Im a new member but I have been a guest on this site for the last year or so. I find this site has wonderful helpful non-judgemental people and I appreciate that. Ill do my best to follow the rules and guidelines, if I fuck up please lemme know. Other than my habits(which are many), I enjoy cleaning, baking, cooking, tattooing, piercing. Im from IL/WI I live like right on the boarder. Yall have a wonderful day.

Question actually I read that we dont have to do the SWIM thing but most the posts Ive read have it. So is that just user preference?

Hi Red, welcome to the site.

We don't actually allow 'SWIM' on the site - people often forget and slip up or use it (or an old post gets quoted and then people start to copy it). Usually when somebody uses 'SWIM' (or my pet dog, rabbit, dragon etc) the moderator will tell them to stop - or issue a warning or infraction (until they get the hint).

It is actually against our rules as outlined in the BLUA.

Specifically, you may not:

use Bluelight in any way, shape or form for unlawful purposes, including, without limitation:
attempting to solicit, obtain sell or supply contraband substances or substances of a quasi-legal status or information on how to do so;
posting or exchanging any information on ongoing or future criminal activity, any information which can be construed as discussing such activity or actively encouraging others to engage in criminal activities;
ask for advice regarding drug tests;

use ineffective self-incrimination avoidance terms. Terms include but are not limited to: SWIM; my dog; etc.


Since you have been visiting the site for a while you will probably already know your way around but please, if your struggling or have any questions just ask. Somebody will help you out.

I'm also new here, just registered, anytime I ever had a question or wondered what If I could take something with my medication , I would come look at related topics to get my info. I finally Decided to register so I could personally ask questions and/or help people that need and information I can give . Excited to be apart of this site. And pertaining to the"Swim" thing mentioned above I did not know about that, I thought he was an actual person and on just about every site ive read so I thought he was popular at that. The new term I seen last night was "SWIY".
