Hello everyone! I stumbled upon this site while searching for information on abusing Lyrica. I am 37 years old and am very exciting about being a new member to this site. A few months ago my doctor gave me a bag FULL of Lyrica samples (50mg and 75mg bottles) for nerve damage (approx 400 pills total). Being an addict, I was curious about the affects of taking large doses and that led me here. I found VERY useful information both about taking it to get high and also taking it to help with withdraws from opiates. My "hardcore" drug use started late in life, 27 years old, and I was a resident of the dark side for about 5 years. My DOC was crack cocaine in the beginning and eventually turned to opiates. I made my escape from that evil dark place 3 years ago and never want to go back!!! LOL! About a year and a half ago I was approved for Medicaid and sought treatment for severe lower back pain which led to having 2 back surgeries for ruptured discs. I still have constant and severe pain, so I am now being treated by a pain management doctor. Since my treatment began I have been prescribed Percocet, Vicodin, Fioricet, Oxycontin, Vicoprofen, Cymbalta, Lyrica and Paxil. Being the addict I am, my pain meds are ALWAYS gone within the first week and I suffer the dreaded opiate withdraws. I can't believe I have had to cure sitting in my bedside table the whole time. A thread I read here has enlightened me to the fact that the Lyrica will take away my withdraw symptoms. As well as get me high and be able to function!!! AWESOME!! I am looking forward to meet new people and learn more about prescription drug use that will not lead me to death, jail, prostitution (LOL) and the DARK SIDE!!
