I'm 28 and from the USA. Joined the forum after reading hundreds of posts.
I used grass and liquor for years, from an early age. For a number of years, I would consider my use to be abuse and it was over-done in many ways resulting in messing with my brain chemicals. I also used SSRI's (many) over a period of time. Along with a few bad life experiences and an imbalance of body chemical, the result was a nervous breakdown at 22. I have a family history of anxiety and depression. I have recovered fully from the nervous breakdown. I still do have some anxiety issues but they seem to be getting better.
I found Kratom to be a life-saver for anxiety, depression, mood and pain. It is nothing short of incredible. I use mostly powdered bali/red borneo and sometimes, extracts. Yes, I know extracts are addictive. If I do use U.E.I, it is a little less than 500 mg. However, like I said, I stick to powdered leave the majority of the times. I know a lot of people love this stuff too so I joined to share more but really ask a few questions. I use N-A-C for a few weeks every few months with my kratom.
I tried MDMA recently. The first stuff was bunk and was dangerous. I told the person and got new stuff and it worked pretty much. It wasn't as strong as I'd like but it was good. I am concerned about neuron-toxicity with MDMA especially with it causing an onset of neurological issues or diseases later in life. Are there any studies about this yet? That is my first question.
My second question is what is a good dose for the an inexperienced user of Ketamine? 100-150 mg? I am not trying to get completely high or reach a k-hole but use it to help my mood, maybe once every month. I guess it is almost hard to know how pure it is as well so that is another issue the more I am thinking about it.
Thank you.
