I've always enjoyed reading up on various drugs. Experimented with many different ones myself. I'm hoping to get some insight into the most recent ones I've tried. Heroine and Meth. I got introduced to the needle and saw how easy it was to get addicted to heroine. I wanted out after 3-4 months. I went to detox for a week and mostly stayed away from it. So, why did I which to ice? I think it is causing me more problems than the H. I'm trying to find posters that have similar symptoms from IV use. As in nerve pain, chest pain, anxiety.

If anybody can recommend where to look or a particular post that can help would be greatly appreciated! I can't tell if it's just extreme psychosis/hypochondria or something more serious. 8o

Hi and welcome to Bluelight :)

Please open a new post in Other Drugs with your questions.

Anxiety and chest pain are common symptoms with stimulant use, especially with strong ones like Meth, and maybe the nerve pain could be related to your injection technique if it occurs near the injection site or could even simply be extreme vasoconstriction, obviously can't tell over the internet and I'm also not very knowledgeable on IV use.

Do you experience the anxiety and chest pain during the comedown or during the high? It's normal to feel anxiety and maybe A LITTLE chest pain (IF it is caused by the anxiety) during the comedown, but if it's during the high it could be paranoia or in extreme cases psychosis as you pointed out.

Anyways your best bet is to open a post in the sub-forum mentioned above, you'll get all the help you need.
Pain is never a good sign (not to mention all the damage that comes with meth addiction, of course heroin isn't good for you but meth is way worse for your body and mind), please consider taking a break if your symptoms persist or stopping altogheter (which of course is the better option).

Please stay safe and feel free to send me a PM if you need help :)

Hello ! I am new to the forum but have reading info from you guys for a few years now ! thanks !

Thanks for your response. I did a good amount on a 5-6 day binge and my tolerance for meth is pretty low. I thought I was going crazy from sleep deprivation. What really freaked me out was on the last day after a small shot I felt like I was having a heart attack. My chest was hurting real bad and I was short of breath. It felt like I had an irregular heartbeat.

Now a week later I'm having aches in my hands, knees, legs, and feet. My elbows and knees are purple. I think I have some kind of infection. Oh, I forgot to mention that the nerve pain happened a week before this binge and it caused the right side of my body to go numb. I went to my doctor and he just said it would go away in time. It did go away for the most part and I feel like he doesn't take me serious and I don't want to go back to him.
