Hello BL!

I'm Kay, a 21 year old female from small-town Virginia, USA. I currently have no "addictions" but I did go to a Suboxone program, got pregnant with my daughter, and then got prescribed Subutex. This was when I learned more about IV use. After I had my daughter, I was switched back to the original Suboxone films which didn't seem to do much other than cost money and take up too much time and effort, it was a pretty strict program, so I actually weaned myself from Suboxone. I haven't had any addictions per se since then but haven't totally quit recreationally experimenting. Now, in recent months, I get a prescription for tramadol for bulging discs/pinched nerves in my back and Xanax for panic attacks and nerve pain caused by my back and fibromyalgia. I seem to be fine with the regimen but I can't seem to deter my curiousity, specifically with amphetamines.

Anyway, glad to be here! Thanks for having me.

Hiya Lucyd1amond,

Welcome to Bluelight. I hope you get what you need from the site. You may find Suboxone/ Buprenorphine Megathread and FAQ V.18.0 useful, which is in the sub-forum Other Drugs (OD) . Another useful forum is Basic Drug Discussion as well as the

Hiya Lucy,

How are you doing?
I'm just sending you a quick message to ask how you are settling into Bluelight?
I hope everyone is going well and please don't hesitate in asking if you need any help or need any questions answered.
All the very best,

Evey

I am sooo sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you guys! I guess I assumed it was another "here's another newbie" but everyone seems so nice and willing to help, that's what's great about this site. I'll definitely check out the adoption thread and work on navigating since the only means of Internet is via my iPhone. Thanks everyone! I've not been very active posting-wise, but I've absolutely learned a lot especially about harm reduction.

I look forward to being more and more active on the site, and expanding my mind. Most of all, though, is knowing that people care enough to quit with the "Just say NO!" jargon and but a proverbial warning label, so to speak, on the many misguided ways to use (or misuse) pharms, herbs, and the like. Enough babbling, onto the adoption thread!

xoxo Lucy

Welcome, Lucy. I hope you don't take this as a "just say no" lecture, but I would really advise you to think about experimenting with new things when you have a child. If you found yourself addicted to amphetamines or something else, it would not just be affecting your life, but hers. There is plenty of time to experiment when the kids are grown. :) Take care.

Hiya Lucy,

Don't worry about the delay - all is good. We all have things outside of Bluelight and no one is offended or upset in any way if someone takes a while in replying. It's just to know that you are ok and it's lovely to see that you're wanting to be active within the site. Looking forward to talking with you. I too have an iPhone and sometimes use the site that way. Do you notice there's both ways of accessing the site. Just encase I'll give you the link to the thread, which links both the mobile version and full site version. The link is http://www.bluelight.org/vb/threads/713150-Bluelight-Mobile-(With-Links-to-Both-Mobile-and-Full-Site!)
It is located in Support (for things such as technical issues, giving feedback etc) and is one of the sticky-threads.

If you need any help with anything or someone to talk to, you're more than welcome to PM me.

Take care,
Evey
