Hi all,
Found this place just a couple days ago & just got round to sayin hidi Hi.
Looks a very interesting & diverse mix so I'm expecting to find some good things,
am also here to impart some help if i can, primarily cos i got to nearly 58 yrs young, despite a fair few ups & downs ~ and so deem myself to have a tad or two of wisdom.
Anyway, I'm still here & just also just begining to take a few tentative steps into early retirement, (so far, so good, actually, m kidding & finding it a hell of a struggle hence finding the Bluelight).

Hey Raedor!

I'm tricomb and I work with Team OD, and we run Other Drugs, one of the biggest, baddest subforums on this site! We cover most of the non-psychedelic, non-MDMA drugs, so we cover the classic drugs such as general narcotics, amphetamines, cathinones, opioids, benzodiazepines/barbiturates, as well as the newer Research Chemicals, etc.

One of my biggest priorities is to reduce the amount of misinformation about combining CNS depressants (which can cause fatal respiratory depression and overdoses) because these combinations are infamous for preventable accidental deaths. Also, to teach proper technique to intravenous drug users (arguably the highest risk category of addicts), proper filtration, never re-using needles, what water sources are safe to use, common mistakes, etc. Another thing that's important to me when dealing with new drug addicts is teaching them to learn everything they can about what they are doing. Actions have consequences, and ignorance may be bliss, but in the world of drug addiction, ignorance kills.

Other Drugs is a harm reduction focus forum, meaning that Other Drugs is not a drugs appreciation forum, we do not glorify drug abuse. Our mission is to provide harm reduction minimizing the potential negative impact on drug abusers and those around them (friends, family, etc).

That aside, there are tons of other forums we have to offer! We have forums dedicated to music, film and television, creative writing, current events and politics, healthy living, to name a few...
