First of all, I realize that a Dr would be better suited to help me right now. But putting that aside, here's the situation.
I'm a long time opiate lover. I've been on hydrocodone and oxycodone pretty consistently for a couple years now. I consider my tolerance to be pretty high. I could take 20-25 mgs of oxy and feel pretty good, it would alleviate my pain, give me a good high. Some intense nausea sometimes.
I had major abdominal surgery 4 days ago. Was rx'd 5 mg oxy. Was taking 4-6 for pain every 4 hours or so.
Today I was given a slow release morphine. Took it, followed by 25 mg oxy, it was taken for blinding pain. 3 hours later I woke from a nap in pain and didn't realize it had only been 3 hours, I took 25mg more oxy. (So a total of 50 mgs oxy. I think the morphine is a 30 mg slow release)
That was about 2 hours ago.
Should I be worried about overdose? How long would it take to see signs of overdose?
thank you in advance for any tips. I'm afraid to go to sleep right now, but so tired after a long painful day.
