I'm brand new to this site but for interested while reading a post on methadone maintenance while pregnant, which I am both of those things. I do not know how to navigate through this site so any tips will be helpful and appreciated. I do have a first question. At my methadone clinic they do not accept any insurance and is strictly self pay which I'm struggling to pay each day. What is the procedure of withdrawing a pregnant patient due to non payment?

Howdy, Ashky, I have no idea. Can't get pregnant and amazingly never had an opiate problem (still lots of time though).
When you find the right place to ask, don't forget to include the country you're in, and the state, since let's face it, you're in the USA for having to bother with insurance.
To find that place, I would head to the focus forums, and find the "Other Drugs" forum. Go in there, and look up at the top for the "Other Drugs Directory" hit that and look for general opiates or methadone or heroin or your issue. It might not be the best place, but there'll be some folks who know a thing or two about methadone and insurance, and they can at least point you to the best place to ask.
