I've been reading the forums here for a few years and finally decided to join the fun. Live in the D.C area. Like the discussions on pain management/opioids.

I see you have already located some of the discussions. Yes, we have some excellent megathreads on that topic. Please don't hesitate to ask me any question. Opioids and pain management were my issue for a long time.

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah I'm currently using them and have been for a while. Trying to find a doc that isn't scared of them and doesn't try to push surgery as an only option. In my opinion spine surgery should be a last resort.

To new member - I had spinal surgery - and hope to not have another. I did have a few epidurals, or nerve blocks in 3 sections of spine which can feel invasive for the procedure, but is not as intense... as surgery... no cutting and only a few hours tops.
