Ex cocaine addict, almost committed suicide, got help, sorted my life out by joining the Armed Forces.

I think the cocaine has affected my grey matter. Often left with brain fog.

Now on pregabalin after hurting myself in the gym, but it has changed my life totally. Feel young and fresh again. For now it seems a wonder drug, but it's new so no idea what the long term affects are. I sometimes take up to 900mg for a laugh. Probably something you do with my addictive personality.

I'm a fan of uppers and hard music. I get drug tested with my job, which is a good thing as it stops me taking uppers too often. Taking a few round ones now and again won't do no harm ?

cocaine can permanently down-regulate dopamine levels, as well as upregulating the amount of receptors

this may or may not get better with time; but it's ok!

the good thing is that you're not using anymore, and you're in recovery :) things will get better, and over time your brain will likely regenerate due to neuroplasticity that we are currently only partially informed on. :)

Anyone here from the east Wiltshire area? Around Chippenham or Swindon area? Need some friends ;) as I'm new to the area.
