Hey all.The title's pretty self-explaniroty,im new here & happy to give ya quick rundown.Im 16,I've had 9 lots of open heart surgery, leaving me with a very high chance of getting infections, because of my week immunity (because of my heart/heart surgery) now one thing lead to another and i got a few bouts of a disease called osteomylitis (infections in bones/bone marrow) and it was pretty painful stuff,so as expected,in hospital i started using opiates/benzos for painrelief/sedation,just the usual stuff,(Endone,OxyContin,MSContin,Codeine 30's & Valium,Temazepam,Xanax etc) now because of the bone infections i was left with a condition know as CRMO,which is brought on by bone infections, its (very simply) when the actual bacteria leaves your system, but your bones & nerves are damaged,so the pain stays.I started using OxyContin for the euphoric rush many of you will know about in early '08,and it's stemmed from there,i know use any opiates / some benzos, when i can get my hands on them, but i hope to discuss many questions and queries with you all,im off to bed now, just sniffed 2 OC 30's - Nighty nighty ;)

Hey man, first of all, welcome to bluelight ! I am so sorry you had to go through all of that stuff, but it seems as if you are doing pretty well, considering. I, too, had to go through numerous health issues and drug issues.

But, introduction threads like this do not belong in OD, so I am going to sent it over to New Member Introductions.

Again, don't hesitate to private message me, and hope you're doing alright.

Mike

I have a lot of respect for you being able to carry on in life with such a painful condition.

I have recently been in a lot of pain but it is slowly going back to normal, and I should be able to make a full recovery.

There is a lot of knowledge and information here, so please do read up and take advantage of it. Feel free to ask questions and PM any moderators you need to in order to best understand the rules of the site (after reading them of course, each sub-forum has their own rules and regulations and the entire site has the BLUA, linked below, first link on the left) or in order to know where to best post a thread if the sub-forum descriptions do not help you out.

I am always here as well, and anyone with questions can PM me. :)

Welcome to our community and I hope you enjoy being a contributing member of Bluelight!

Thanks Cpt.Herion,Much appreciated .

Any time.

There are many good resources at Bluelight for almost everything.

Because so many people experience pain in life and so many people have to get on opiates to cope with pain, a fair amount of Bluelighters end up being pain patients, before or after they signed up, as a temporary or chronic pain patient. Being able to talk to others in other kinds of painful conditions really does help us all in a way. I know it does for me. And I hope my story goes on to help anyone else who may have the unfortunate circumstances I have lived through for the last few months.

Talk to you later, and I hope to see you around.
