New Here, wanting to say Hello!

I am new to the site so I wanted to say Hello, I live in Arizona and am pretty new to all of this. I have been seeing a pain specialist for about 2 years now and I always have questions that I don't feel comfortable asking my doctor about my medications. I am prescribed 10MG pure Oxycodone's 4 times daily. I am not really sure if this is the place I need to be, but I am always open to learning new things from people in the same situation I am in. Can someone give me a little incite on this site, I have been digging around some but always open to feedback.

As fas as I understood you have pain issues and have been going to a doctor who prescribes you Oxycodone 4 times a day for the past 2 years. However, it seems something is bothering you and you feel that here you is the place you'd feel comfortable to talk about this. Is that correct?

What is it that you want to talk about. Does this medicine helps you with the pain? Do you continue to get these painkillers from the doctor or is it something you are now doing on your own?

I have personally used this medication and others that are similar. I find them quite addicting and very short acting but if you have them 4 x a day it shouldn't be a problem. Do you suffer from a specific chronic pain? Have you ever discussed with your doctor if the doses are ever going to be decreased. Please feel free to bring your concerns and we'll try to help you. What is it that you would like to know more about?
