Hi all! I'm new, just a girl in my early 30s :) I don't do any heavy drugs but I have some experience with their effects, and I do dabble a bit with a few things myself. ALSO I am a wealth of information about pharmaceuticals and the medical world since I have so many different health problems and have spent half my life (or more) in hospitals and Dr offices. I've taken so many different prescription meds in different categories it's not even funny! And I'll talk to anybody anytime about anything (I'm an open book with no filter and no modesty, it's a dangerous and entertaining combo lol) and always do what I can to help! :-D

Hey...I'm new too and know very little about anything I'm experiencing in PM right now. My posts are in the DARK SIDE forum under DixiChik (Chicken Shit to Continue PM). I'd appreciate your input. Thx.

I am new to this site and don't really know what I am doing. I am totally addicted to 30 MG of hydromorphone contin. The red pills. Beads. And I am always running out. It's so frustrating. Where I live I know it's out there but hard to get to know people. Do I just randomly ask people or what. I just hate dealing with withdrawals. What should I do?

Nice to meet you. I hate running out of meds all the time. Dealing with withdrawals is a pain. What do u recommend?

I'm going to attempt to post an update. I saw my PM doctor today. He said that my metabolism testing shows that I am not fully processing the Oxycodone. He says that explains my needed increase for dosing schedule to 4xday. However, he says he cannot write for 120 per month. He will only write for 100 per month.

Can anyone help me to understand this? Would I be better off going back to Lortab, OR would it be limited, too? I don't fully understand the requirement to enroll in pain "management" if the doctor is afraid to actually "manage" the pain. He said he'd have no problem increasing the milligrams, but not the number of pills. Huh? Why would I want to increase mg? He suggested 30 mg to break in half and take every 4 hours during the day. The broken pills upset my surgically altered stomach. What do I do?

Thx for your responses!
