NH is nearing the passing of a MMJ bill to become the final state from New England to enact some form of cannabis reform legislation.
Although in comparison to many other states the NH bill will be a very strict MMJ act.
Home growing is the latest piece of the bill to be axed to enhance its chance of passing and being signed by Gov. Hassan.
This does pose a small problem in that it significantly delays the point to where patients will finally have access to MMJ since they'll need to wit until dispensaries are opend which is likely a very long time.
Regardless, I feel this is a step forward for this state and the nation as a whole. We are quickly approaching the 50% mark of states with medical marijuana.

Besides getting rid of home grow, the latest version of the bill also lengthens the timeline for marijuana dispensaries to begin operation, and eliminates post-traumatic-stress disorder as a qualifying condition.
Medical marijuana advocates said their prime concern is that without home grow, the bill could keep marijuana from patients for another 2 years.
Regardless, I feel this is a step forward for this state and the nation as a whole. We are quickly approaching the 50% mark of states with medical marijuana.
