Hi, I just joined today,although Ive scanned through the site a few times before when I needed some info on certain subjects, it is nice to know Im not alone. Im 38 and been an on again/off again(mostly on) heroin addict, I have somehow found a way to keep it underwraps, a consequence of that is after 15 years I still am pretty naive about the related issues, glad I have a forum to explore,learn and relate to. So hello from Long Island!!!

Hey there, Jennluv,

Welcome to Bluelight. It's always ace to have new members join here. There is what's called an adoption programme, there's a thread about it in a sticky at the top of this sub-forum, where current members, known as Bluelighters befriend Greenlighters, new members and help them settle in by answering questions, chatting to one another via PM and so forth. If you're interested in that, please post on that thread that you are interested.

You may also be interested in the sub-forum; Other Drugs http://www.bluelight.org/vb/forums/58-Other-Drugs or the three recovery forums as follows;

On the Sober Living and The Dark Side sub-forums, there are a few threads that encourage people to feel more positive. They are;

Evey :)

Welcome!

Although bluelight is a great place to learn some harm reduction hints and tips on be aware that it can also be a trigger for use..

The Dark Side, Mental Health and Sober living all have rules to try and stop that happening..
