Opioids New generic opana questions

Hello there, I am a long time reader of this forum, but haven't really posted.. I have a question that I have not found much info on when searching..

My friend's DR rx'd him the new generic opana 10mg.. they are the orange 228 pills.. not name brand the plastic ones.. he has been a long time oxycodone and hydrocodone user, But this is for the most part first experience with opana.. What type of time release do these use.. When they are chewed up they are orange all the way thru.. they chew up into a powder type substance, but kinda instantly get sticky when it hits saliva and some of it sticks to the teeth a bit... with tolerance where it is currently it takes 250-300mg of oxycodone to get a good feeling... 10 of the 10mg opanas were chewed up as best as possible this morning and theres no feeling.. What is the best way to take these? I apologize if i violated any forum rules here, like i said i'm kinda new here

I'm new as well, just joined, but have been a reader of BL for a long time. One of my friends has been on suboxone 16mg daily for a while. He recently got his hands on a couple of Opana 30mg (not sure if its ER or what but pretty sure it's ER). He occasionally stops taking his subs, waits 48 hours, then does a couple H's, but typically it takes him 3-4 stamps to feel anything, but it is probably due to the crappy quality of the H. Well my friend is wondering, with all of this being taken into account, if he hasn't taken his sub in a while and wants to do the opana's that he has, snorting them that is.. How much would be a safe amount to snort being able to get a decent high? Any help would be much appreciated.
 
For best results, snort them. Bioavailability of opana is only 10% orally, but far higher nasally. The generics will gel a little, but can be snorted just fine. Oxymorphone is very strong when snorted, so start low.
 
The bio-a is about 40% intranasal. However because of oxymorphones potency it is more than enough!
 
Can I ask a stupid question... I've been on pain meds for a long time, but only ever ate them, never snorted.. What does gel up mean? I chewed up 10 of these the other day as best I could, and they turned into a "wet flour" like substance when chewed.. And I got no good feeling at all even a lil bit off of that..
 
Also sorry for all the questions, Do they make several different generics, or is the activis the only ones? What type of time release do these use?
