New Generation of Rollers Really Just Tweeking?

The last worldwide study done on the subject of Ecstasy purity showed that a suprisingly high percent, almost 80%, of all pills in circulation are pure MDMA. I wouldn't necessarily say that the younger generation is consuming any more speed in their pills than we were a decade ago.
Do you have a reference for that? I'd be interested to see it. Not saying you're talking shit, just curious to read up on that.

Thanks :)

PS: Here in Toronto, I wouldn't be surprised if a comprehensive study found that 80% of pills were at least 50% meth as percentage of total active ingredients. :\

hahaha!!! I gotta see that one. 80% of all tested pills were untainted mdma? how big was the test group?

Speaking from personal experience, as someone who started 18 months ago and has used fairly consistantly since then:

I've never consumed a pill that didn't contain at least a medium dose of MDMA, and I'd say about 20% of them also contained a low - medium dose of amphetamines. Works for me.

Maybe it's different in america I guess.

This sounds disheartening if it's true. Meth is such garbage. I'm not putting this out as a "better in my day" statement, but from 1999-2001 in Ohio we just got the occasional DXM (read: "smacky") pill. The rest were MDxx and usually great.

Not that I trust statistics from the DEA, but if you give them any credibility they are claiming that over 50% of "ecstasy" pills siezed in the US last year (unclear on whether they mean 2006 or 2007 as the article is dated Jan 3rd 2008) contained methamphetamine. Here is a quote:

" More than 55% of the ecstasy samples seized in the U.S. last year contained methamphetamine, according to the policy office. "

That was taken from http://www.nationalpost.com/news/canada/story.html?id=213372

If you believe those statistics, you might have a 1 in 2 chance of getting pure MDMA pills. I'd be willing to wager its more like a 1 in 3 chance of getting pure MDMA pills once you factor in totally inactive pills and other fakes that don't contain methamphetamine. Those are not very good odds.

there is more speed in pills today because it's harder to produce today then it was 8to10 years ago, it's harder to get the chem's strictier laws makes for cheaper ways to produce, and that's a fact, cheaper and easier to produce meth then it is to get enuff safrole to produce a couple million pills.

I do agree in most parts of the statement made. However there are still some great pills out there that are loaded with MDxx. You just need to find them, or have them find you.

Here's a thought. Why don't we score up all the molly we can right? Then find a presser here and press pills with the BL logo on them and give them to all of the areas with bad pills? Sound good? I thought so

Not sure that would look too hot for BL's future. But pressing a pill on a pill?! Sounds cool to me.

i guess they would have to be blue and have a light as a logo??
or maybe thats too predictable....

I was having this discussion with a friend the other day. For the past year and a half or so most pills in my area have been methbombs. In the few years before that, there was only one faction that was still bringing in good pills and they weren't too interested in dealing with many people at all (especially white people) and their prices were higher than everyone else, but I didn't care because the shit was amazing. Once they shut down, good pills disappeared for a while around here. At the end of '07 a batch of absolutely amazing pills came in (red rolexes) and flipped the scene upside down. We had an entire generation of kids in the area who had no idea what ecstacy was until these pills came. The problem was, most of them weren't willing to pay a little extra. They were getting the methbombs dirt cheap and would prefer to get cheap garbage than slightly more expensive quality (and I'm only talking $2-$3 more per pill). The individuals who were willing to try had one of two reactions: "Wow" or "This isn't real X, this is smack." What a world...

I also want to add this to the methbomb discussion:
I have a personal issue with methbombs. Back in August, my girlfriend (who was in another state at the time) took some MDA/meth pills. She apparently started tweaking too hard and took some Xanax to calm herself down. She never woke up. I've been on a mission since then to drive methbombs out of my area and encourage everyone I know to test their pills before ingestion.

^Shiiiiiiit. :\

When I first started doing pills, I once bought four one night and after not feeling much after taking one, I kept dosing cause I thought they were low MDMA content.

Uh.....four hours and three pills later, I was tweaked out of my face for 18 hours.

I wouldn't go near meth for almost two years after that......I ended up getting addicted to it though. Lol

ah, glad all that's over.

Ya, fuck methbombs indeed.

PS: I actually don't think the DEA's stats quoted above are much of a stretch. I'll believe it.

PPS: That's the ONLY thing the DEA says that I'll believe though. I swear. (FB)

So Bluelight could be associated with illegal drug distribution and potentially compromise the website remaining as a valuable resource?

Doesn't sound too great to me. :p

Why not just encourage people who live in areas that notoriously have bad pills to purchase test kits or stop purchasing all together so that the chemists have an incentive to make better pills?

wow i hate people who can't be bothered to even contemplate what kind of pill they are putting in their system.....

i even have a friend who continues to assert that mdma and pills are basically 2 different kinds of drug
(admits that pills can have moderate amounts of md in them but that it should be a mixture of that and speed and other crap)
back when i used to hang out more with him he told me once he would rather pass on mdma that night and have a pill instead because mdma made him too embarrassingly friendly...

another one believed the exact same thing, and one time i even agreed to trade him a capsule with mdma (that i made myself) for the same amount of md in a wrap cos he kept going on about how "nah man that looks like an ecstasy capsule i'd rather have that PLEASE"...

Not having tried meth myself I definently think this is possible. I have been takin these G's Up Ho's Down pills of all kinds for the past year and a half because its all I can get. Then after comin by a random source that had quality stuff for variouse things, I got me some of them red buddhas and it was quite the reminder. I would have these psychic delusions and feel incredibly comfortable while everything had a rainbow glitter to it. After taking 3 of those, my usual weekly habit for E disappeared and I have been content with being sober since (yet I would probably by them every week if they were available). I guess when you finally get the real deal, the craving reveals itself to be meth instead of the E you thought you were taking all these months. It really is the perfect drug in every way when its the hawaii.

its a lot easier to feed dumb kids meth/bullshit for 5-15$ a pill than it is to give kids good mixes at a higher rate...

And as long as the idiots are willing to buy, the flow will continue unabated, which is a truly sad state of affairs.

It's really easy to get them where I live, but, you don't always know what your getting. That's the only problem... However, I've yet to have any that didn't have amount of mdma. Of course, I've only gone through 3 different people.

I'm in NE AR. so I know how you feel"bootleg capital"is where we are. I hate our pressers, pushers, hustlers. All we can do is come to together and let it be known we want MDMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look harder? I in in NW AR and have never in my life had anything with meth in it.

Just don't buy from shady people. Test your pills, and whenever humanly possible, do not buy pills. Ask for MDMA crystals. Its not like there is a shortage. If nobody buys the crap pills, well, drug dealers can't make a profit. I know everyone always says that, but in AR the market is small enough that this has a real effect.
