New drug found; addicts say "Feels more euphoric I thought it was possible to feel"

Okay, so there's no new drug that's been discovered. Well, there probably has been new RCs discovered, those Chinese seem to be releasing new ones all the time, but nobody said the quote in the title, although I'm absolutely certain that at some point in the future - maybe not the near future, but definitely at some point - there will be a drug found that is more euphoric than any drug or drug combination available to us now.

But I digress - I made the title just to get your attention, I'm just wondering why my threads always are ignored and die so fast. I put effort & time into coming up with threads that I try to make thought-provoking and interesting and stimulate discussion and debate but it never seems to go anywhere. It seems like the only way I can get any responses or attention is with really really controversial troll threads that piss people off or make me sound so retarded that people rush to correct me, and doing that is lame and unfulfilling, and I'd rather not be a dick. Can anyone help me out? Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong, or shed any light at all on why I seem to suck so much at making threads? Why am I lucky to get 4 replies to my thread, whereas threads asking the simplest of questions like "What dose of methadone is best" get pages & pages & pages?

It's only on this forum I seem to have this issue, I do alright on other forums like drugs-forum.com, but that place sucks and I prefer the community here, or Reddit, which is a good site but obviously the drug subs don't compare to Bluelight here. If anyone who can offer advice or guidance, it would be fantastic.

I wouldnt worry so much about it. Ive read some of your posts and sometimes people may think you are trolling but I thought when you were going back and forth in one of the threads I think about homosexuality you were justifibly harsh and correct. And your other thread today was good. I want to reply but want to think about it first.

Rio Fantastic, I'll do you a solid and try to reply to any new threads I see from you (provided I have something useful to say about the topic). I've also wondered the same thing sometimes about why my meaningful posts can go somewhat ignored, so I feel your pain.
On a similar note, I've noticed that Bluelight has been getting increasingly less "communal" in the past year. As in, if you look at threads from 4-5 years ago, they could be about almost anything you can imagine and get at least 10 replies minimum, sometimes over 100. Nowadays I rarely see a thread break 20 replies.
Anyways, good luck and have a great day bro!

Well now I don't feel like clicking on any of your threads if you post one with a misleading title just to get people to open it.

I don't see the point of complaining about people not reading your threads or x number of replies....its blue light not a popularity contest.

I read a lot of threads, but if I don't have any info to shed that hasn't already been posted then I just observe. I'm new to posting and if I see any future threads by you I will surely reply if I have an opinion or knowledge to speak of.

Bluelight is basically a democratic process, in that there's no compulsory element in responding to threads. If there's something that we feel really needs to be said, then w
e will more often than not, address it. I know it sucks to hear, but if no one responds to one of your threads, they either don't find it important enough or they already know the answer well. Just for the record, some people will get annoyed when you attempt to "lure' them to a thread in this way.

Also, you might end up affecting your reputation by giving people the runaround like this. They might intentionally skip over yours.

^ What he said. Although it's a shame you feel ignored this thread isn't appropriate for BDD, a place for those to ask simple questions about safer drug use. Bating people into a thread like this doesn't sound like a good way to go about things either... may even make some even less willing to respond to your posts or perhaps generate a few pity responses.

A lot of factors can play into why people don't respond to posts. Posts that are too long, uninteresting content, posts that don't lend well to discussion, poor etiquette, aggressive/hostile behavior, or any combination of those and more. Perhaps going back through your post history will reveal things you do subconsciously that may give off the wrong vibe. Either way this type of discussion doesn't belong in BDD so I've gotta close this.
