new DAFT PUNK album, weird launch MAY 17

iv seen busy p a few times but missed out on daft tour tickets when they were out here a couple yrs ago. friends pics from the show made it look pretty fucking amazing. id imagine the daft crowd would not be the best but what could do.


homework still #1 imo - around the world into rollin and scratching into teachers into high fidelity - pure class
 
yeah i saw them a few years back at never ever land. good show. they go a bit overboard with playing elements from 2 or more tracks at the same time and reprisals, but it all gels beautifully. i still prefer the chemical brothers live.

I saw Daft Punk play their USA debut at Even Further 96 with a Live PA set. Here is a old school video showing Daft Punk throw down the goods..

This video does no justice to the sound system that was set up in the tent. It's crazy to see the progression that Daft Punk has made from "Who's that?" to hearing them on every radio station, simultaneously sometimes.
