AWESOME THREAD! have been worrying about my liver for awhile now, and this makes me feel 100x better!! i'll be taking my first CWE tonight! oxycodone!!! hoorah=D
 
Did the CWE last night and worked like a charm. Probably won't ever be taking pills normally again. Unless in a pinch. Thanks to everyone for sharing their information.

Hi all been reading the forum for a while and thought I let you know some of my successes and failures. I am no expert!

Firstly, Codeine has undergone a rescheduling in Australia as of May 1st. But, strangely enough you can still get Panadeine 15 OTC with ID or this morning with a fake name :)

Anyway, I have seen some absolute misinformation regarding CWE on other forums, which made me quite ill recently.

Previously I was trying to extract from NurofenPlus, but that stuff is evil on the gut and it gave me an minor ulcer with I am using Nexium to treat.

Just had an Ultra-sound yesterday and my liver is enlarged, but no cirrhosis thank fuck. Specialist wants me to have an Endoscopy to suss the thing out as an ultra sound doesn't do well imaging the stomach. So, fingers crossed.

So, I turn to CWE Panadeine 15, initially with room temp tap water 150ml water per 12 tabs (15/500) chuck it into the freezer and wait about 1/2hr. Eventually I started adding ice to the mix, which I later found out can harm the codeine(?).

Anyone know rapid cooling the solution affects codeine concentrations?

My next error was using warm/hotish water to melt the tab faster. I read online this was a good way to gain all of the codeine. Then I added ice and thought I had come up with a cool new way of CWE. After a week of doing this I started feeling very toxic.

Obviously the APAP was dissolving in the hot water, whereas using cold water and a bit more patience negates this larger amount.

I always pour the clear liquid into the filter and leave the filler/muck and hopefully APAP behind. I just wrote off not filtering the muck as a small price to pay considering the comparatively small amount left V watery solution.

So, in essence I believe that my faulty methods a. destroyed the dose and b. could have killed me. :(

Just thought I'd put this out there, so it doesn't happen to anyone else.

This is what I am doing now and it would be great for some constructive feedback;

100-150ml tepid water
X12 15/500mg Panadeine 15
Place in freezer 1/2hr
Filter (coffee) without muck when the solution is between 3-5degrees

Down it.

Yeah you were using a little too much water but that's OK

Also, you don't need to heat it up first man just use cold tap water that's what I do

And try and use Chemists Own pain tablets, they dissolve SO easily. :D
 
this is a very long, VERY GOOD thread so i'm not sure if this was brought up before:

i just did my CWE with 5 x 5mghydrocodone/500mgAPAP using about 40mL of water. i'm estimating that i harvested somewhere between 15 and 24mg of hydrocodone (probably closer to 15mg).

is it not more dangerous to not know the dose of hydrocodone you're taking opposed to taking an acute dose of 2500mg APAP? i mean, which is more harmful: the APAP or having a very rough estimate of your narcotic opioid intake?

also, how long could you keep your filtered opiate solution? could i CWE some hydrocodone around noon and keep it refrigerated until around 9pm that night for consumption? would it degrade?

^ You can keep it refrigerated that long it will be fine.

Also, I have read that at best you will get around 90% of the dose, so you should just always use that as your estimate. The more water you use also the closer to that mark you will be. So if you use a tad more water then necessary you can pretty much guarantee you are getting around 90% or better out of it.

As long as you don't use a stupidly large amount more then you need in some effort to compensate, you will be fine.
 
Is it possible to CWE with Propel or other flavored water so the finished product isn't so bitter?

just extract with regular water and then add your own drink mix after the filtration /before you drink it. Using those enriched waters may interfere with the ability for the opiates to dissolve in the liquid if it is already saturated with vitamins and sugars.

Just get some powdered drink mix and add to it before you drink it.
 
If I were you mate, i would simply stick to panadeine or products that contain codeine and paracetamol, from my experience its alot easier to separate and tastes alot better when it comes to trying to swallow lol :-)

just be careful, I have done cold water extractions successfully many times, i was extracting around 80 pills, or roughly around 800 mg of codeine, however i got lazy, and on one particular occasion, didnt extract correctly, and i ended up accidentally overdosing on paracetamol, and ended up in hosptial, luckily my liver is a trooper, and decided to not dye on me, but just be careful, its certainly taught me a lesson

Just use a t-shirt, filters through much quicker and still collects a lot of the ibuprofen. It will not collect more ibuprofen than coffee filters, but the amount going through will not harm you.
 
I use an old work-shirt - like this sort of material. First, let it sit for a minute, until it slows to a drip, then squeeze that bastard for all it's worth. This will leave a rather cloudy mixture but with no solids in, so it will then go through a coffee filter much quicker and end up with a relatively clear solution.

NB: I have never managed to get a CWE to "work" with Nurofen+. It always ends up completely cloudy whatever method I use. This might just be me being crap, though.

NBB: I use (available in the UK for sure) Boots brand Paracetomol+Codeine. £1.99 for 32 - they come in a grey pack, just don't buy the ones with caffeine which come in a red pack and are £3.99. You can drop a pack of these in 70ml of water, give them a stir, leave them in the firdge for 10 minutes and they're completely dissolved - no crushing required.

Nah when using nurofen plus it is normal for the mixture to be cloudy. As i said there is still not enough ibuprofen to do any harm, so its nothing to worry about. I have done around 10 CWE with nurofen plus and t-shirts and im still completly fine :).
 
ALWAYS use cloth then coffee filters. We have a megathread that covers this about a thousand times, it's better to post there than make yet another new thread

Oh, interesting :) Is that just fillers and stuff then that makes it cloudy? How many pills did you use out of curiosity? I'm up to 300mg per dose :(

Well 12 pills at first, now im doing 14, not cos of tolerance, but 12 just wasnt my sweet spot ;)
