New Alice in Wonderland - What will you be tripping on?

FYI i saw the imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, and its trippy and confusing as hell without the drugs :). Very crazy and amazing visuals and story.

It can get very dark, on and off, and isn't a hollywood movie. Also, having heath ledger turn into johnny depp, then back to heath, then jude law, then back to heath, then colin farrell... was confusing to say the least!!!

And i was just high on weed.
 
I saw Alice today, the opening day here, 1st screening, in 3D!!!
I saw it sober, but it was awesome!
i think i´ll see it again on something, but in 2D, the 3D strains my eyes and I had to take the glasses every 10 minutes or so for a couple of seconds, and the framerate made some things look stuttery.
But oh boy! what a movie!

Going to see it tomorrow. I almost can't sleep i'm so excited and I since I haven't tripped in a long time I have a pile of money and a few new sources for psychedelics. =D <3
 
Well, directly after class tomorrow, I am taking a few hits of acid, then making my way to the movie theater.

Nothing too special :)
 
I am anxiously waiting the trip reports for this before I go see it in a few hours. I will be rolling and have had a very strong hash edible, plus oxy. AND it is my birthday today. What a gift! What an awesome way to spend my fifty first birthday. I'm fucking so stoked.

Took 400 mg of mescaline crystals in a gelcap roughly an hour ago. 2 hours till Alice in wonderland. This is my first trip in over a month so it should be interesting. Starting to think this may have been a little bit overboard. Technology looks strange on psychedelics and I spend far too long typing.
 
We're going to try watching it on a low/medium dose of LSD; in april after most people have already seen it so it won't be too full. The only problem will be the fact my boyfriend; who I will watch it with, works at the cinema and him passing by his co-workers tripping will be awkward to say the least; but he'll have to live with that.
 
Just bud....hopefully. First time i've been off work 2 days in a row in a while so i'm gonna take advantage and see it tomorrow (Saturday). Also just wondering, what are the ticket prices for others in various locations. It's 8.50 for early bird tickets and 10.50 (for 3D) after the first showing in the Tri-Cities area (NE Tennessee + SW Virginia) for reference. Enjoy everyone and happy tripping!
 
Definitely getting some tabs for this one, my link had madhatters about a month ago, hopefully he can still get his hands on them. The movie is sold out at the theatres by me though, so I'll probably wait a couple weeks to see it. Anyone else disappointed about how much screen time it seems Depp is gonna be getting in this movie? And here I was thinking it was a movie about Alice :/
 
All I can say is WOW! Possibly one of the best films I watched on psychs, the hardest part was staying quiet and not telling everyone about how the mescaline enhanced the film. And I had a hard time finding my way out of the building because I was still playing the movie over and over in my head. I loved how I was still at my climax at the end and I wanted to jump down a rabbit hole myself ;)

So earth shattering when you are tripping you face off in 3D when she falls down the hole.
 
I ended up going on the opening night on a clean tab and 25mg of 2C-I. I was surrounded by a couple rows of friends also on psychs in the corner of the theater, so nitrous was going around most of the duration of the movie. (Stupid idea, we didn't come close to getting caught due to the context but it gave me a bit of anxiety the whole time. It was still ridiculous in 3D, I usually don't like watching a movie while tripping.)
 
to those who have already been to the movie tripping and in 3d, did the 3d experience work while tripping? personally i've only seen the 3d effect on tv, and the glasses hurt my eyes after 15 minutes. i'd love to see it in imax 3d tripping, but don't want to have the experience ruined by pained eyes.

has anyone seen it in both 3d/2d and can compare?
 
Definitely having a couple hits of acid before hand, then chill out and blaze before the movie and have a nice big line of ketamine in my seat :)

Even though I heard it wasn't that great I don't think I'll care too much haha

The glasses felt comfortable and really looked amazing. Nothing was popping off the screen (sober), but everything looked super vivid and there was a type of depth that looked like the setting of the movie was spread across multiple plains contained within the screen.

I actually left a little early, though. The eye candy was awesome but I got a little too fucked up to focus. (Whippits every few minutes plus flipping was fun as hell, but I wasn't watching the movie much once the tabs kicked in.) I would imagine just a low to mild dose of 2C-X would have been more detailed and useful, but I was going to a party afterwards and didn't want to deal with redosing late.
 
was asked to go see it friday night with a friend and to partake of some mushrooms

i didnt read any of the above posts and i know this is PD and call me a pussy or what not if you wish

but i balked at the Idea of going to see a movie on Opening Weekend with the crowds of people (who might not approve) i just wasnt interested


I am however, quite interested in seeing Alice in Wonderland while under the influence (Prob drueing a cactus trip) but in the privacy of my own
home.

Also I have been more interested in getting my hands on The Disney version of Alice in Wonderland, Im assuming/hoping they will release a double version on DVD when its released. I hope, i might actually buy a movie/s for once

I think I'll prob go see this one in theatres though aswell. i havent seen a 3D movie yet. and i guess this is as good as any (didnt wanna see avatar :p)
