New 2C bans in the US

Ok. So I guys I'm late on this. But apparently as of Obama signing the new law on July 9th, several 2C substances have been banned. Among those being my 3 favorites. 2C-I E and P. Damn this sucks. Thankfully no tryptamines where added. Looks like I'm gonna have to find a new favorite. Anyone here not known about this or am I the last one to find out?

yeah this affected me aswel, it sucks. best for us to keep the tryptamines as small/low key as possible imo the more they get well known the quicker they get scheduled.

iv been keeping track on it for a while, for atleast the past couple years every such and such months they tried to pass that bill im even surprised they lasted this long.

i was hoping to get a 2c order out before it went into play but i procrastinated to much. thats ok there already coming out with some different 2cs from what iv gathered so far.
 
Yeah. The 25x ones aren't on the federal books yet. But one of them has been made illegal in my state. I really don't get it though. The 2C substances haven't even really been in the media that much. I understand the bath Salts, because those have been all over the news. Propaganda or not. But the 2C ones haven't. Nor have I heard of them going around head shops and and stuff like the MDPV and Mephadrone was.
 
But if there was ever bulk production, it was of -I, -E and -P and it has been like that for a while now. I could get insane prices a couple of years ago. I was never really that big a taker though.

Sorry though guys, I would have liked for you to be able to trip on this more easily.

What's the complete story, if anyone knows it?
 
I just read the bill that was passed. The section focuses primarily on outlawing synthetic cannabinoids and bath Salts. But they slipped the 2Cs into it. They even threw 2C-H into the list. Supposedly to prevent people from using it to synthesize 2C-I
 
Last summer a couple of teenage kids in the midwest overdosed and died on 2C-E by snorting huge lines of it (who does that?!). One of them was in Minnesota, and Senator Klobuchar from that state made it her pet mission to get this horrible evil drug banned for the sake of the precious innocent children of America. On consultation with the DEA the bill was written so that all of the other popular 2Cs were put in Schedule I along with 2C-E. They almost passed it last year, but then our libertarian Senator Rand Paul, being a libertarian and disagreeing with all US drug policy, put a hold on the bill and effectively killed it. Klobuchar negotiated with Rand for months but he wouldn't budge. They finally got around him a month ago by sneaking in the content of the bill as a rider to a completely separate one dealing with FDA regulations or whatever which no one dared to hold up. This passed and then the president signed it on the 9th. He probably wasn't even that aware of the rider or knows about the issue, for him it was just another routine regulatory action he had to sign.

And that's that. It's pretty disheartening for me, having taken various 2Cs probably over a couple hundred times over the years, to see my government declare them to be more dangerous to the public than cocaine or methamphetamine (both Schedule II). 8)
 
gotta be most upset with the 2c-h ban. i just got my hands on some bromine...
 
Did this ban take effect as soon as it was signed or is there a period of time before it goes into effect? I am confused...some are saying it went into effect immediatly while others are saying it will not go into effect until october. I have a vendor who can still ship 2Cs but I do not want to place an order if they are illegal.

I give it 2 years before they are scheduled...someone is going to make a major mistake with NBOMs and bring them media attention. I am already seeing these on the streets and I amost never ran into 2Cs on the street.
 
I have been hearing about more people trying 25x-nbomes in my area lately. Bound to happen though i could find various 2cs every where most of the time, i actually have never had to order a 2c compound now that i think about it.

Im really interested in 2c-e-5eto and 2c-d version at the moment. wish there were more trip reports on the compounds, im sure there will be sooner or later though.
 
how bout some 2c-b with n-hydroxy group? why isnt this out yet? i see hot-7 popping up everywhere
 
2C-i and 2C-e were in the media quite a bit in the early 2000s to mid 2000s. Do not forget about Operation Web Tryp either.
 
There are still a lot left. The only thing that happens is we go from well-known drugs, that we know how safe they are, to drugs that we've never seen before. These bans just put a lot more people at risk.

(After the naphthalene cannabinoids were banned, some people tried to make cannabinoids featuring naphthylamines. Gentlemen, start your carcinogens...)

Your right. If someone wants to get high they will. Scheduling substances just makes people either become criminals or start trying less well known and more risky drugs. I got started on RCs because of the bans on the classic psyches.
