This is the worse possible thing i have ever heard of is there any way i can sue this company my brother insuffelated/vaporized about a gram of it an he keeps thinkin crips r in the house tryin to kill him an sayin the most crazy shit las time he did some was 2 days ago an hes still fucked from it an im extremely worried my parents keep tryin to convince him that noone was their but his brain is so fucked from it. he kept thinkin people were tryin to light the house on fire an told me the crips wouldnt let him leave the house an they were holdin a shotgun to his head he honestly believes this this shit to an it aint real cuz im sober an he kept wakin me up with all this shit an i jus have to keep tellin em, dude ur fucked up! an he keeps refusing to try an go to sleep idk what to do!!!! i hope my brother aint fucked from this bullshit idk how they let shit like this get over the border meanwhile harmless marijuana is illegal. Can anybody tell me is their anyway of me possibly bein able to do something to get these illegal or atleast expose the gas stations in the area selling it? This drug will kill people stay away from it i promise you this is the worse iv ever seen anyone fucked from something

fuck, man. that's scary, i hope he gets better, give it some time but if he doesn't get better soon maybe take him to a doctor or something, some sort of medication might help... can you tell us the exact kind he did?
 
sorry i havent posted iv been dealin with him for the past 3 days he went an got 3 half gram jars of this blue bath salt one of em was for me the other 2 for him well i knew right away when i did it the shit was no good for me dude so i gave my pretty much full half gram jar to my bro so he ended up doin all 3 half gram jars within a 24 hr period an he was alright for friday but then sat. he started gettin nuts an buggin out thinkin the crips r blowin the house up riggin bombs everywhere an tryin to burn my house down dude its bad its now monday hes says hes sober but yet he still believes all this crip shit happened dude its fucked up i know the bathsalts that he had got had mdpv in em
 
Sounds like MDPV. Tell him to not use *any* stimulants for at least a few weeks and get plenty of rest. Eat well, and exercise. Judging from personal experience and the experiences of others, I would say its likely that the psychosis will subside in a few days to a week, if he does what I suggested above. Tell him to stay away from bath salts in the future, it sounds like hes having a pretty serious reaction.

BTW – it may help to ease your / his mind to know that these experiences (psychosis) are NOT uncommon when using MDPV (The chemical thats probably in his bath salt). It will go away if he allows a proper recovery.
 
^^Exactly my thoughts........I had never experienced stim psychosis from anything until I over did MDPV. I was too nervous to go out and get my mail as every other person I saw felt like they were inside of my head. Plenty of rest and nothing, even coffee, and things should be alright for your brother.
 
Yep, you'll find many of us here (esp. in the MDPV threads ;)) have had similar experiences to your friends. More than once, I've been driven fully psychotic from this chemical and thought people were trying to break into my windows, planting bugs in my apartment, hiding out in my closet / shower waiting to stab me, etc... It can get really ugly if you take it too far. My point is, I'm completely fine now, no lasting paranoia or anxiety. So just make sure he has a healthy recovery.

I'd advise against it at least until the paranoia starts to subside. Then it probably couldn't hurt. While he's still hallucinating / delusional though, I wouldn't risk it. It might confuse him even more.
 
He'll get better once he sleeps. I think it has gotten worse becuase he hasn't slept. Get get to go to sleep somehow. I dunno if xanax is alright here, but it might help.
 
I don't think you can sue the manufacturer because you intentionally used the product in a manner that was not consistent with the directions.

Unless the packaging tells you to use it the way you did or does not have any instructions on it.

Legally it is your liability b/c you tried to use something that was packaged as bath salts as a recreational drug. This is so clearly a bad idea that no court would ever back you up in my opinion.

Maybe there is something I don't know however so the best thing you could do is take your brother to a doctor and if they say there is anything wrong with him contact a personal injury attorney to see what they think about it.
 
Yeah while the bath salts can without a doubt lead to bad shit happening, it isn't the products fault. People don't do any research or know what they are getting themselves into before trying a product. I realize they aren't the safest thing as the amount of MDPV in the jars isn't known, but doing 1.5 grams of bath salts in a day will without a doubt lead to some seroius psychosis and crayzyness.

You can't sue the company, as these products aren't sold 'for human consumption" in the first place. you and your brother chose to abuse them, so it is on you guys for not knowing what you were getting into.

I feel bad and am sorry your brother is wigging out, but just keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't do anythign stupid. After some sleep he will be fine. It isn't permanent. More drug use isn't the best answer, but if you have any benzos (xanax, valium, klonopin) he should take a low dose to calm down, and get some well needed sleep. I don't think he needs to go to a doctor yet, unless he is exhibiting irregular physical symptoms.

Fuck these bath salts. Dumb shit like this is the reason that all this stuff gets banned. People like the OP's brother are idiots and do way too much and then if these people go to the hospital, this stuff gets banned a week later. I wouldn't shed a tear if just MDPV gets banned but it looks like mephedrone and methylone might get caught up in it too which is a shame. I don't get why they don't put any dosage information on the bath salts. I know they aren't officially for human consumption but they could put, "use 150 mg per bath" or something like that.
 
Now one could argue that the fact that they "aren't sold for human consumption" is just a way for a company that is absolutely selling a product for human consumption to avoid all the consequences of their actions while still reaping the benefits.

These products are obviously not useful for their supposed purpose and are sold in head/smoke shops for that exact reason. There should be a way to hold them accountable for their actions as they know damn well what people are going to do with them and don't provide any way to reduce the harm that it will cause or even inform people of the exact ingredients or dangers.


I agree that it is the users fault if they don't do any research before putting something in their body but the fact is that a majority of drug people do exactly that, especially at a young age.

I know, its really too fucking bad. MDPV was a little gem of mine and it would've stayed legal for sooo much longer, had it not been for these greedy-fuck bath salt vendors.
 
i can't believe there are people out there willingly consuming these unknown branded RC's available from the corner store. it's totally irresponsible and against one of the most vital rules of harm reduction : know what you are taking!
 
That's because you are supposed to do 25MG tops and even that can be a little strong.
This is why we get laws making drugs illegal is cause irresponsible people don't even bother to use the EASILY ACCESSIBLE INTERNET TO EDUCATE THEMSELVES!

I have read bad story after bad story about bath salts. A lot of them resulting in death. Please, Please think twice before doing them. As Pillthrill said educate yourself.
 
its shit like this that "harmful" drugs like marijuana are illegal, and research on other drugs cant be done
