So i was thinking about it and i cant recall one time that i have blacked out. There has been times when i woke up the next morning and went wtf happened last night but it all comes back to me after a bit. Even when i drink i still can remember where i was the night before and who i was with. I was wondering if anyone else is like this or am i just cursed wit a good fucked up memory

yes you probably have a good memory. which should not come as a curse. but if you did black out, how can you be sure it happened?

Something i would rather not remember lol. And thats a good question. I guess the only thing i can go on wit that is i can get a timeline goin about where i was. who i was wit. what we were doin. The closest i ever came to blacking that i recall was when i was on meth. And it wasnt really a blackout more like i knew wat i was doin and thought it was right at the time but when i was sober i would go why the fuck did i do that. I dont think thats a old fashion blackout tho

Yea I blackout frequently. One I drink that one last beer, or take that one last pill, complete and total amnesia is inevitable. Like one might think, a lot of blacking out is dependent on how much of whatever substance it is that you are consuming.

Everyone is different, and thus, everyone's experience with blackouts is different. Alcohol can definitely cause amnesia, but benzodiazepines will really give you a full taste of what amnesia is. If I had to answer your question, it's just because you're not too prone to ethanol-related blackouts, which is sweet. That doesn't mean you're invincible or anything though... the xanax can still get you

are you talking about alcohol as well? or just meth?

because when it comes to alcohol, i find i have a very good memory too. the only time i had trouble remembering a night was when i drank heaps and pretty sure i had my drink spiked.

other than that, when i drink, no matter how drunk i get (Admittedly, i have not been vomiting drunk in a few years) i always remember the night quite well.

I've never blacked out on just alcholol, maybe you just aren't taking the right drugs to black out on. I have blacked out for over a day on supposedly over 20mgs of alprazolam (I only remember taking 4mgs but they were all gone when I came to) and I've blacked out once or twice on MDMA and alcohol. I've gotten minor alcohol poisoning a few times when I first starting drinking but I always remembered it. It seems like someone would have to take insane amounts of alcohol to black out.

Im talkin about all drugs. I forgot about xanax tho. Ya...mini black out i guess. I remember most of it up untill the end. I dont remember fallin asleep is all...i think. Or takin so many pills. Ok so i guess i have had one blackout.

Alcohol has little affect on me, I used to always try to get black out drunk every time I drank cause I could never be as dumb as my friends were even when drinking everything straight. Then I got introduced to benzos lawl, took a hit of weed and woke up in my friends bed with no idea how I got there, couldn't remember a single thing we did that night.

I guarantee benzos will make this happen, even more likely if you drink on them. Ambien also does the same, I use ambien as my drug for crazy stories lol. You might think you remember it all, but keep a person or two around and do something more than just chilling and you'll probably find out that you don't. Almost every time I've done ambien I found out later that I had been chugging out of the bottle even though I had no recollection of even touching the bottle and thought I stayed moderately sober. These combinations are REALLY bad to do often, I got wasted on ambien and various kinds of liquor pretty much every night for about 2 weeks and I'm still not sure what happened some of the nights and neither is my brother who was doing it all with me.

One time I woke up and thought I had this awesome dream about going to this party with my brother (the party would have been about a 2 hour drive), but then my brother told me he had a similar dream and we both had this song stuck in our heads that we had no idea where it was from. Now we're seriously unsure whether we went somewhere that night or not :-\

Nowadays I prefer just being buzzed (even though I don't know how to stop there haha) cause I've learned that when I drink a lot it just becomes a downer and ends up doing the opposite of what I want.

Well, I have blacked out several times on benzos and alcohol (only when combined and in high doses), and while I did black out, it always came back to me slowly throughout the day.

I used to have very good memory too.

anyway, back to what I was saying,

when I got high on weed I used to forget large parts of it, but each day afterward I'd remember more and more.

AND to add to that, yes, I have had blackouts, staying awake but feeling asleep or just not being 'there', as well as just being forced to sleep.

Btw a bit of advice if you do mess with benzos more, keep your dangerous and expensive drugs out of reach. I haven't used regular benzos much, but ambien seems to make me end up on at least 3 other drugs.

Before my benzodiazepine tolerance was super high, I'd take zopiclone, then that would open the door to weed, alcohol, benadryl, tobacco, salvia, other benzos... MAN FUCK BENZOS!

I occasionally lose 3hrs or so of a night. Usually involves mixing with alcohol. Has happened on valium/booze, xanax/booze and ketamine/booze. Ive been up and about, (apparantly), but just 'come to' a few hours later and not remember anything of what ive done for the last period of time

I have never totally blacked out from alcohol either. I always remember most of it, and just have some empty spaces in my memory. But I almost always black out completely when I take high doses of benzos or ambien. I think it's because it's difficult to drink that much alcohol without throwing up, but you can easily take more pills.

That isn't my issue, I still remember the times I've been unable to walk on my own. I was aware of what I was doing even if I slept on the toilet or over the balcony railing. I've also never had a hangover strangely...

I mean sure I do throw up when I drink a ridiculous amount in a short period of time, but I've only puked three times ever and two of the times were cause I had also smoked a lot of weed. Even though the time off pure alcohol I couldn't stand on my own without collapsing and everything was a blur, I still managed to smash my way against the walls and down the hallway to the toilet when I felt sick.

I guess you could count me falling asleep on the toilet or railing for a couple hours as blacking out, but I only really stayed there cause I was puking for hours and every time I thought I felt better I ended up going back and puking again.

^^ i was goin to post something very similar to that to. About how you could count passing out at a toleit seat so you could throw up as a blackout. Also the only time i really ever throw up was when i mixed weed after i have been drinking. And about being aware of wats goin on but to drunk to do anything about it. AND that i also have never had a hangover. not wit a headache anyway. Weird dude we almost the same
