i go to night school and a few kids have been talkin about taking some pill called neuroten, i think thats how its spelled. they said it really fucks you up and makes u all numb. i think there just being gay and think there messed up. but i just wanted to write this to see if any one else has heard of this pill and if it is any good. i think its normally prescribed to diabetes patients to relieve pain. thanks for replying.

Yes, it is very useful. A normal dose is around 100-600mg, but I've taken up to 4 grams (4000mg) with no side effects and a very pleasant "body buzz" and slight euphoria, inebriation and relaxation - but not really what you would call a high and in no sense of the word a rush.
A cool drug, never had a single side effect from it, and as far as I've experienced it seems very safe. If anything it is more useful for me (like benzos) than it is something to have fun with.
Oh and once I took it during a yohimbine overdose where I thought I was going to die, and I'm certain it is what pulled me through. However, I have no real knowledge of how this drug works and what it can potentially do.

Yea, Neurontin (Gabapentin). My doctor switched me to it after i came off xanax after 2 years (that was a bitch). It helps my anxiety... i take 1200mg at least. Sometimes if I take it in the morning it feels like i took cold medicine, but it usually doesnt have any side effects (slight headache sometimes). It just doesnt last long, only like 3 hours. I like benzos so much better, but I got tolerance and dependence problems withem, and dont recommend them.

Nurofen? I know Nurofen + in Australia has 12mg of codeine in it, so if you have several it has a very high recreational value :)

With no knowledge of the safety, I've never gotten anything from the prescribed doses (100-600mg). For me anything under 3000mg doesn't do much, but beyond that the effects are 'intersting'.
