Neuroscientifically speaking, why can't I get under the influence of numerous narcotics?

Hello,
I am able to get under the influence of the following drugs:
alcohol
weed
ketamine (FTIR tested)
pregabalin (legit pharma)

and not able to get under the influence of the following drugs:
amphetamine (FTIR tested)
methamphetamine (FTIR tested)
cocaine (FTIR tested)
MDMA (FTIR tested)

I was wondering what could be going on inside my brain receptor wise so that I can't get high? I never took any antipsychotics or antidepressants. All the drugs that don't work I took in various doses (that should be active) and various ROAs.
 
Who knows. Also, FTIR isn't suitable for analysis of recreational drugs that you plan to use or give to others to use.
 
Update: I was definitely able to get under the influence of 2c-b. Still don't know why I can't get under the influence of stimulants.

It's better than color reagent tests.

I'm the same way. I've tried coke 4 or 5 times and it never worked. I've done mdma and it worked a couple times but that is all. I'm on Adderall and it worked at first, but not anymore. never done meth. where can i get genetically tested? my pain meds don't help with my pain.

with mdma some people get a strong tolerance that lasts months to get any affect at all, and some people claim they can never roll like their first experience again. a lot of people limit rolling to once a year or seasonal if you were over doing it... i hear about people claiming they can roll like every couple weeks. totally not with me. i don't have any issues to the other drugs you spoke of though.

i dunno about the coke. maybe it wasn't great quality. i would think if adderall worked then you'd get some effect from coke, but maybe being used to adderall is dulling your drug experiences. i don't think there is really a cross tolerance, but with coke you might just used to your heart racing. i don't think being used to adderall would really dull mdma. i'm not sure though... your issue is probably because of tolerance and maybe not the strongest drugs. i could be wrong though.

If ADHD makes it so Amphetamine, Cocaine and MDMA,
won t influence you, you are reading a wrong book.
Or the FTIR is flawed, and its bunk, doubt that scenario.

Anyone with ADHD gets high one these. Only exception THC.
Many don t feel it 1-st time. Felt the Nicotine rush from the Tobacco.

ADHD-ers don t need to take more [urban hoax],
but do seem more prone to fiending drugs.
So most do take more drugs. Till they are educated.
Finding out the hard way for many works.

You didn t mention any dosages or weight/ sex. All of influence.
If i leave the stims out of the equation, MDMA remains.

Are there people that don t get affected by that on the planet ?

Ketamine WILL work if you dose it high enough. Never heard of somebody who was immune against dissociative anesthesia. Same for alcohol, some tolerate it better than others but it will intoxicate you if you drink enough.

Maybe you OP are a CYP enzyme fast metabolizer? I see postings like yours from time to time and can't help me but wonder too what the cause might be.

What doses have you tried, via what route(s) of administration, & how many times have you tried each?
