Neo-codin??

I found like 6 pills of Neo-codin left. I was wondering if I just took 4, would I feel anything? or is there anything I should know, or have to worry about? I haven't been able to find much info on this, since it looks like its from the middle east, or france.

I just know it has codeine in it, so just wondering if i may need to extract the codeine, or I can just take it regularly and be fine.

Drug dosing questions belong in BDD, so I'll move this over there for you.

I'm not familiar with this particular preparation, but some google searching reveals that it contains 15mg of codeine and 100mg of sulfogaiacol per tablet. The recommended dose of sulfogaiacol is 160mg every 4-6 hours, so taking that many tablets would exceed this.

If you do some searching on here, its easy to find information about codeine dosage. Someone else may be able to help you as far as the sulfogaiacol goes (I'm totally unfamiliar with it.)

You need to find out what country this came from because Neo-Codin (or some call it Neo-Codion) have different formulas depending on what country you got it from.

Neo-Codin, as far as I know come in the form of 15 mg codeine combined with sulfogaiacol and grindelia. Sulfogaiacol is an expectorant drug similar to guaifenesin.


I'm getting other Neo-Codin formulas which contain 20 mg codeine and 10 mg dionine (which is another opiate, ethylmorphine).

I can see this turning into a pill ID thread soon and if that does happen, I will have to close it.
