I think his most underrated album is :

"Are you Passionate?"

saw neil young hanging out at sundance one time
 
"after the gold rush", "everybody knows this is nowhere", and "time fades away" will always be on my list of fav albums not just fav neil young albums. i've always liked neil young, have seen him in concert a couple times, def a living legend.
now i've got
"fourteen junkies too weak to work
one sells diamonds for what they're worth..."
stuck in my head ;)

when i lived in boston a while ago, i saw him live playing with the original 'crazy horse' line up. awesome show indeed.

my favourite album is 'ragged glory'.

I just love Neil Young - just about all his material.

Great to see fans out here! After the gold rush ('70) aswell as Zuma . Cortez the killer maybe the best track he's written. Can't think of many artists still great after 40 years without being laughable (sorry stones fans..) The exception being Dylan , Ozzy , Iggy and couple more.
 
Neill Young is my 2nd favorite songwriter of all time. Bob Pollard of Guided By Voices gets the nod just from the sheer volume of amazing songs. But Neil's deep as hell no doubt.

Real excited for the new one. Just Neil with a custom guitar. He calls it 'Folk Metal'.

First time I saw Neil Young was with Sonic youth! How cool is that!!!!

I did a search I cant believe there hasnt been a thread on him such a great musician. After The Gold rush has become one of my all thime favorite albums I just love the song writing and the lyrics just move me in a way that not many albums have. I love hey hey my my, Dont Let it Bring You Down, Southern Man, shit I like everything I have heard from him but I just recently got into him so I havent heard it all by anyy means. Does anyone else like him?
