so many times you keep promising an effort
but everytime you fall i keep asking when

everyday i keep succeding but not without effort
yet you are always just trying to survive
i can't give you ambition or even hope anymore

i've worked to hard to risk it all for your games

sorry holds little power on repairing damage
forgivness bares a limit with repeated shame
the cuts on my feet from carrying you this far
they no longer heal and were not the same
