Outside he was just like everyone else
always there to listen, to learn
he thought he knew how to

but he tried, his fear returned
Creaping over him like a tidal wave
fear most primal, fear so deep is could not be ignored
fear from the very core of his being
needless, senseless, reasonless fear
cripling, overwhelming, self-defeating fear
In his eyes, everyone knew
they were all looking at him
staring, thinking, laughing
they would tell their friends, their family
everyone knew
He knew is was wrong, he knew how it should be
he wanted it to be right, he tried
