To preface Telazol is a veterinary anesthetic containing 100mg of Tiletamine and 100mg Zolazepam per ml. On the bottle it says "for intermuscular use in dogs or cats only".
Problem is, I was only able to end up with about 20 units, and due to this low dose, am inclined to try intravenous administration. The bottle says that sterile water should be added in a ratio of 1:1, but could sterile saline nasal spray suffice? Can this be administered IV? Should I still try to use it intermuscularly? Any suggestions?
