Needle gauge

i just got a needle, but the gauge is 25 5/8. i know this is large for an IV injection, but does it pose any bodily harm, or will it just hurt more. also, will it leave a bruise. thanks for the info.

possibly more pain, but besides that you will be fine. might just have to massage the area a little more with alcohol and cotton.

I would also warn that you're much more likely to bruise using a larger needle. It shouldn't cause any other real problems though. Just make sure to inject very slowly because with a wider needle its easy to shoot up really fast.

25 5/8 might bruise a little more, and isn't as good for IV as it is for IM/SC - but it works ...
Still, go out and pick up a pakc of ultra-fines! (29g)

Just to make sure, you dont just have ONE needle you plan on using over and over, right? please throw it away after ONE USE, and go get some more, i can get you a place to get them from online pretty cheap if you need it, no questions, cod orders even, paypal, whatever. Just use a new rig for every shot ok? Thanks

Are you serious? Why do you do this? And do you have nice, big, prominent veins?? I sure hope so. A 21 g is about as thick as my frickin' ARM!

I used to have to shoot a friend up with steroids using a 21g needle... think is like a fucking tent spike, plus muscles just don't look that good to me..
