Needle broke off!

Omg I'm high but I'm freaking out. I was getting so frustrated trying to find a vein that I just muscled it. I shot heroin on the back of my calf and when I took the rig out the point wasn't there! What the fuck do I do? I'm pretty high so I don't care but at the same time I have a needle point inside of me!
This is a relapse and I'm living in my parents house. I'm too afraid to tell my mom. What happens now? This can kill me right? Please help me guys! What do I do?!? Has this happened to anyone? Omg omg

Hi there, did you snap the needle point into a vein or muscle? If muscle then I wouldn't be that concerned at the moment, you can always go and get it checked at a clinic. I would have imagined if it snapped into a vein you would already know about it.

How much broke off, how deep ?

Sorry I don't have any proper advice - once your sober, check the needle again, see how much broke off, then go and get it checked at a needle exchange clinic etc

I know someone that was aiming for vein use and it broke off. He went to hospital and they did xrays. Then told him there wasnt anything they could do...to jus keep an eye on it...come back if he noticed numbing etc. This was maybe a year ago. I pray he doesnt have problems cuz it does wrry me. He's been clean almost 10 months!

Sometimes people have travel a ways to get needles and it might not be financially reasonable or something they're capable of doing.

I've re-used needles a bunch of times. I usually check the pressure on it before I use it by sucking up water and shooting it back out. If it's weak I don't use it, if it's still strong I figure it's alright. If the point is crooked or slightly bent then I definitely wouldn't use it.

not financially viable? sorry, i dont buy that when a single syringe costs $0.20. if you cant afford to have clean needles mailed to you then you have no business handling needles. how are you going to dispose of it?
