Need to Taper

I've been taking 20mg Adderall XR, 1.5 mg Klonopin, and 20 mg Citalopram everyday for over 3 years. I want to stop being so dependent on these damn drugs, but I can't/don't want to do it the smart way and quit the adderall cold turkey. Any advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated

That's quite a combination and probably a complicated ordeal to get off of all of those meds at one time. A taper from benzos is quite simple, however I cannot speak to the other meds. It is likely that you will need to taper off each individually, but, as I said, I can only speak about benzos, and i suspect the benzos MIGHT be the last med you want to taper from. You will need input from other people familiar with getting off the other meds. My advice would be to talk to your doctor about this issue.

^ This without doubt. Talk to your doctor and let them know you no longer wish to take the medications you are being prescribed. Between the two of you, a plan to tapper off each medication one at a time shouldn't be that tough to create.

I'm not going to sugar coat it, and say it's going to be a pleasant experience, but by all means, it's pointless to keep taking medications you feel you no longer require.
